Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

She looked him glaring. He never understood why she wanted why she wanted to work and probably never would..Yes she was rich...well not her. Her family was. It wasn't her money, it was her family's. She looked at him hurt, "Look I'll take you to my house to look at the book Varod, but you have to understand that it something I've been working on since I was born.

"You're not a vampire, Christy. I'll find it," Varod promised. "I'll have to stock up on blood, but I'll make it. Don't worry. If it's out there I'm going to find it. And expose it."

He turned back to her.

"Okay, let's go somewhere where people won't see us aparate," he said, locking arms with her and setting off down the cobbled street.

"And if you can't?" she asked curiously walking with him as they turned into an alley. "I mean I'm not trying to sound horrible but why did you do it?" she asked looking at him. She never got the honest reason why he asked Sam to change him. He had had her heart but all it would have taken was a little less fighting on their parts and she would have went back to him.

"I don't know...Really Christy, at the time it seemed like a good idea. Think: young forever. All my strength getting a boost. Able to run like hell. What more could I want, Christy? But now I'm losing you I'd gladly take it back. I love you. Will I really lose you if I can't find it?"

He turned into an alleyway.

"Okay. Let's go."

"Unless you turn me against my will then yes." she said looking at him, how could she be so heartless and still love him at the same time.. It confused her because she didn't want to not be with him but she didn't want to become a vampire either just to stay with him. Then the thought of children. What if she could never have children with him. Her heart dropped.

"Ok." she said as she grabbed hold of him, "Hold on." she said as she apparated straight to her room in her parent's house. "Well lets see." she said as she walked into a room, in her suite and pulled throught a entire shelf of books before finding the book. "Here."

Varod nodded and began reading. Settling himself down on the rug, he opened the book on his crossed legs and skimmed over a little bit of it.

"Ah okay, this is what we're looking for," Varod said satisfactorily. "Listen: In a Scottish field, there is a red flower with ten petals that when brewed with sugar will cure a vampire of his need for blood and will allow him to age once more. With the downside of losing his immortality and amazing physical capabilities, it is unrecommended. However, if for some reason a vampire would like, they may use this.

"This is it! Can you aparate me to Scotland? I know it will take forever, but I have nothing but time."

Christy looked tired as she laid down on her bed while he was flipping through the book looking for what he needed. She just felt so tired. Apparating had taken a lot out of her to go so far in such a little time. They went from England to Germany and with her energy levels taking a spike like that, it just took a lot out of her. "Yeah.." she said sitting up listening to him read the passage about it.

"But we don't even know if it would work. And where in Scotland would this field be?" she asked curiously, letting out a yawn. She couldn't stay this tired forever. It was noticible now that she was fighting even to stay sitting propped up against all of her pillows. "I can take you but can I rest some?" she asked looking at him, "Apparating like that took a lot out of me."

"I don't know. I'll run all over Scotland if I have to," V said firmly. "If it doesn't work I lose you and that's...horrible. Don't make me think about it."

He made his way over the the bed with her after replacing the book.

"Do you mind if I rest with you Christy?" he asked tentatively.

She nodded her head up and down telling him it was ok to lay down next to her. She was so tired she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer and it wasn't even past two in the afternoon yet. She should have been full of energy right now, not crashing and falling asleep like she was. Especially with how she slept the night before as well. She should have been well rested by now.

Varod climbed over her and held her in his arms.

"I'll watch over you," he whispered, promising her that he would keep her safe. "Sleep. When you wake up I'll go and search. And we'll be able to be together properly. Dream about it. Dream about our children Christy."
