"And I am very glad you feel better, "Khaat kissed him, " Are you hungry? There's coffee and tea, both, brewed, and I'm finishing some fresh baked cookies. We're having roast chicken for dinner, but that's some time off yet"
She took her time giving him the rest of the story, slowly, casually. "Just so you know, there are more death eaters here, from Hogsmeade or London. They are very determined on killing Miseria or killing us to get to her. We had a run in with them on the way back from the ministry. Oh, and the London ministry knows that her father had the prophesy. I showed them it was empty, but I didn't tell them what it was. Miseria knows now. I sent the empty prophesy ball back to Lucius. Maybe that will get him off her trail a bit. It probably won't work, but it might slow him down for a moment. Miseria is upstairs going through her family's things. She's decided to sell the property to the Romanian ministry and let them put the money in trust. We'll have to take care of it for her until she's ready to take care of it herself. I'm not sure what I missed, but that's the nutsell of it. Now--you wake up. We didn't get a chance to go to the market, so i'm going to run out quick and do that. I'll be right back." She kissed him again, and grabbed her coat and left the house.
She hadn't gotten very far. She was just crossing the street in front of the house, when she heard a wand crackling, and she felt a sharp searing pain across her back, just above her waist. She fell face down in the snow covered street, blood pooling around her already. "Rob!" she screamed as loudly as she could. Whoever these death eaters were, they were getting suddenly a lot more serious.
