"I say go inside," Varod said after some thought. "I don't exactly enjoy the idea of snowboarding in the dark. We COULD do something ELSE by the fire, if you get my drift. Only if you feel like it, though. You wanna?"
He kissed her passionately.

"Oh." she said feeling silly. "I forgot the sun was going down soon." she said looking at him. She caught on to what he was saying and didn't answer as she kissed him back just as passionately jumping on him so he could take them into the house.

Varod shrugged and ran in, dropping her onto the couch and falling on top of her, not feeling like going to the bed...

Later...

"Well, that was certainly the best we've had so far," he said, kissing her. They were both dressed again and she was on top of him on the couch. "You have fun?"

Christy smiled, "Yeah." she said curling up against him on her side. The couch was large enough to fit both of them comfortably side by side. She kissed him back, "What about you?" she asked looking at him.

"Absolutely." Varod kissed her neck lightly. "I wish there were more moments like this, neither of us worrying about nothin. Just me and you..."
He held her in his arms and looked into her eyes.
"I love you."

She looked at him, "I love me too." she said smiling and kissing him softly. "What time is it?" she asked curiously not breaking eye contact with him for a second.

"I dunno, and I don't care," Varod told her, a very small smile showing on his face. "What, you don't love me?"
He made a puppy dog face and made his eyes all big.

"You know that doesn't work on me right?" she asked looking at him. "I've perfected the art of the puppy dog eyes. I'm immune to it unless its my cousin who doesn't degrade himself down to it." she said jokingly. "How do you think I get away with what I can at home?"

"Heh, NOTHING works on me," Varod said, mouth twitching and he shrugged. "If you said you'd hate me it wouldn't work, because I'd know it was a lie. You'll never stop loving moi, right?"
He smiled and fitted her more tightly against him.
