ne'os felt the sun come back for a second and then it went back behind the clouds "sam stop scaring them we dont need to many people hating us for what we are" he said.

Sterling was still staring at the vampires. He edged uncomfortably toward Chase, become increasingly comfortable as he did so. She seemed much less afraid of the Sam and Ne'os than he did. This lack of fear eased his. He inadvertantly squeezed her hand which was on his. Rather than being immunized by her smiles they seemed to have a much strengthened effect. He smiled back, feeling clumsy.

He heard a laugh from behind him and whipped around to see Sam standing there, looking amused but threatening. He didn't scream but almost did. Where did she come from? His legs trembled slightly.

He then addressed Sam again when he felt comfortable enough. He cleared his throat, "What does it taste like?" he asked her. "Blood I mean." he asked as calmly as he could.

Samantha looked at sterling, she smiled, then said, "Oh, ok, well, since your only half, it won't taste the same as it does for us. But you can try some if you like?" Samantha said, then flash ran back over to Ne'os.

ne'os handed her a vial now thinknig to himself he will have to hunt soon.

Chase stared at them all with wide eyes. Wait Sterling was half...these guys were...She shook her head silently. This was crazy! She was surrounded by a bunch of Vampires. She had jumped when Sam was behind her. But she was more afraid of Sterling taking out his wand. But there was just something about this whole situation that made her want to giggle. And giggle she did. She giggled about the fact that it was starting to rain now. About the fact that she was surrounded by Vampires. She started to giggle so hard she snorted.

ne'os was slightly concenred about her sanity "if you like i can help you not remember that we are vampires until a time you can accept that" he siad taking out his wand.

Sterling was about to draw his wand instinctively, but the pressure of Chase's hand on his made him stop and come to his senses. Her inexplicable laughing calmed him immensely. As she did so, he did the same. It was accompanied by the inexplicable urge to take yet another step toward her. He resisted this, however, and stayed rooted to the spot, snickering inexplicably along with Chase. He gripped her hand a bit tighter uncounciously.

"Er... no. I think I can accept it." He said calmly. "If you promise not to eat me." he added with a smirk.

Samantha took the vial from Ne'os and walked over to sterling, "Here try some." Samantha then handed the vial to sterling.
