Lost and Confused (Sammy only)

"Alright, it's an old war bunker for WWII," V said smiling and stepping down the steps. There were hidden holes in the ground for guns and the entrance was half concealed. The day he had found it, there was a troll at the entrance, not wanting anything in it's territory. His arms had been broken in the fight, but the troll dead. He knew nothing about the inside was known to him.

"Let's go..." he whispered, withdrawing his longsword and stepping into the darkness below. After the years, mold had gathered on the walls, floors, and ceiling so it was slightly springy to walk on.

"Maybe we should light a torch."

Sammy smiled and walked on with Varod as they entered the bunker. "Wow, it's been here awhile then hasn't it." Sammy said knowing that that was a stupid thing to say, of course he already knew that it had been here awhile. Sammy rolled her eyes at herself, then smiled again. "Sure I'll light one." Sammy said walking over to the wall and grabing a torch. She pulled her wand out and pointed it at the torch and creating fire on the tourch. She put her wand away then handed the torch to Varod, since he knew where to go. "Ok, after you." Sammy said standing beside him.

"Thanks," V said sarcastically. "Well, let's be off."

The torch raised high, his steps preceded the rest of his tall body as he glanced back at Sammy. His sword poked something and his head snapped forward to see...a skeleton. With six arms.

"Well that's pleasant," V grunted, disgusted.

They continued forward, bouncing slightly until the floor became hard again. This far in the moss was unable to grow due to know light penetration at all.

Sammy watched ahead of them as they walked. She stopped when Varod did then glanced up at the six armed skeleton. "Wow, I don't think he was human." Sammy said smiling then continuing on with Varod. The floors bouncyness stopped and Sammy was glad it was starting to get annoying. Ahead of them it got darker, she hated having to use her nose and ears to know whats coming, but to live she would do it. "So how much farther is it?" Sammy asked him in a quick voice just in case something heard her. If there was a six armed skeleton down here this close to the entrance who knows what could be farther down. This started to remind her of a movie she saw the other night with some weird aliens hunting each other then humans got messed up in it.

"No clue," Varod admitted as suddenly they emerged into...a wide, hollowed out circular area that was filled with...redcaps. In stands. Thousands of them. A gate crashed behind them. "I'd take that as an answer for you."

At the head of what could only be an arena was the largest red cap Varod had ever seen. Almost as tall as he was, the thing look like it could crush a watermelon with its pinkys.

"WELCOME ONE AND ALL!" the RC boomed. "THIS IS MY ARENA, I AM GOLGOF. Watch, as the six armed beast destroys the poor mortals."

The RCs all cheered and Varod sighed.

"Ready?" he asked Sam, a smile on his lips. "They must have good treasure here."

As Sammy and Varod entered this giant circular area with all the redcaps, at first Sammy was scared. I mean she had children to go back to. If she didn't survive this who would take care of them, her father wouldn't live forever. Sammy took a deep breath then looked over at Varod. He looked happy, like this is what he had been waiting for his whole life. Something inside her erupted. It was like she was happy too. She smiled then looked back at the redcaps ready to kill them. "Yep. This is going to be fun." Sammy said lifting her sword and running into battle.

The room looked strange. This was the most he had ever seen. All these redcaps...

And the doors on the other side opened and out came...a massive creature. It must shrink, like humans, as it aged because this thing was way bigger than the skeleton. It had three arms on either side, and sabers in all of them. It's skin was purple, and stretched like there was not enough room for the muscle. A mask covered it's face.

A roar shattered the silence as the thing charged them. Varod dodged out of the way to the right, rolling around the thing and slicing upwards but it was parried and he was slapped in the face and launched across the arena by the flat of a blade, another sword ripping his shoe off.

Sammy stopped short when the monster that came out was huge. She couldn't believe her eyes. How long had this thing been down here? Who got it down here? Why did it stay? But she couldn't wait for the answers. She watched as Varod got smacked across the room. This made her angry that a friend got hurt. Her eyes turned red and she charged the monster from behind. Her sword hitting it in the head and making a gash, but not large enough to do any damage to it. She jumped back dodging a sword. She pulled her wand out and threw a parralizing spell at it, but the spell just bounced off it's thick skin. D***! She thought as she put the wand away and jumped at it again. She dodged a sword as she landed on it's back, she dug the sword in deep but he threw her off. She hit the wall with a thud, her head bounced off the wall and she started bleeding.

"Sammy!" Varod/Anti yelled, their voices melding together as Anti slipped out. They both ran forward, swords ready to strike. Varod aimed up and through the back, Anti jumped off V's back and plunged his sword through the massive creatures head, up to the hilt so both blades touched. The monster screamed and started forward, but Varod whipped out his wand and tie himself and Anti to a pillar so the swords ripped out the things back. It fell over, screaming and writhing, back ripped open.

The two men nearly puked.

Varod's blood soaked pants made him disgusted, but they both rushed to Sammy.

"Are you okay?"

Sammy was just about to get up and start going at the moster again, when she looked up she saw both Varod and Anti going at him. She was thankful for this. It gave her the time to see how bad her head was. She lifted her hand to her head and felt the blood and pain. She put her wand to her head and made the blood go away. But that was all she could do. When Anti and Varod came over to her she smiled. "Thanks guys. I'm fine. I just have a headache." Sammy said standing up and looking around. All the redcaps were angry and yelling. That wasn't good. "I guess they thought that we would lose." Sammy said smiling at Anti and Varod again.
