Lost and Confused (Sammy only)

Varod was hurt beyond recognition. Both of his loves had disappeared, none of his friends had been around and he had no one but Anti, who he was suppressing in his mind because he was tired of talking to himself all the time.

At the moment in the Forest of Dean he was hiding next to a cemetery from which he fed and he hunted animals for meals (making sure none of the blood got into his system).

He had no clue what to do. All of his things were in a magically enlarged suitcase, including every weapon and things like that so he was cut often enough when he reached inside. Obviously he couldn't return to his apartment, seeing as he had probably lost the deed from not showing up or paying rent.

There hadn't been any reason to spend his money so he was sitting on a small fortune. Ironically, he was sitting in an apple tree snacking away.

Sammy had been out hunting in a forest, she was on vacation that summer with her kids. But she left them with her father, she didn't like them knowing that she was killing animals and drinking their blood. She wanted her children to grow up in a happy place. While she was out in the forest she had just finished drinking from a deer. She was sitting on a stump, she could feel that someone else was in the forest. It was just like her. She turned towards the direction of it and started running at vampire speed. Finally she got close enough that she could see what it was. She didn't want to get to close just in case it wasn't friendly. But there was a familiour smell to it. "Hello?"

V didn't react at first. The voice...he knew it, but for a moment he couldn't place it...then memories of his best friend seeped into his brain like fire through a forest and he rolled off the tree, landing right in front of Sammy, a grin slowly spreading across his face like dye in water.

"Samantha," he said quietly, wrapping his arms around her. "It's been too long."

Anti began to fight, and his love for Samantha beat Varod and he burst forth, breaking between V and Sam as Anti hugged Sammy.

"I've been stuck in there for months!" he said, irritated. "Thank GOD you showed up!"

"Anti, shut up." V popped him on the head.

"Why you-"

"I will use all of my willpower and make you unable to pleasure yourself if you complete that sentence."

"Yes sir!"

Sammy was surprised to see who it was in the tree, but more surprised to see that he didn't recognize her at first. He must have been out her for the whole time after he disappeared. "Oh hello Varod." She said hugging him back but then almost fell backwards when Anti showed up and hugged her. "Hello Anti." She said, she got her footing back and watched as they argued. "You guys haven't changed abit. What happened why are you out here?" She asked him feeling odd that she hadn't started looking for him when they dissappeared.

Varod looked at the ground, but Anti piped up.

"He um...broke down after Christy and his other girlfriend disappeared."

"Um yeah...what nosy said," V said, looking sheepish. "But anyway, it's great to see you again. I really missed you...until I blanked out. But you were always somewhere in my memory, at the very front."

"And I mast- I mean, thought about you a lot!" Anti said, stopping himself.

"Pervert..." Varod whispered.

Sammy slightly blushed at Anti's words but was more worried about Varod. "What do you mean that Christy and the other girl dissapeared. Has everyone dissappeard lately?" Sammy asked trying to get the thought of Anti pleasuring himself out of her mind. She use to be with him but he looked so much like Varod and Varod was only a friend. "Come with me, my kids and father are waiting for me at the park up ahead. We can talk along the way." Sammy said thinking about how much she missed while she was away.

Anti stiffened at the thought of whoever Sammy was with.

"I'll stay in V's mind," he said, and disappeared.

Varod sighed.

"Alright, let's go," he said, hugging Sammy again. "I really missed you. What's been goin on in the wizarding world while I was gone? Should I join in fighting whatever the hell's trying to kill us all this time?"

Normally he fought in whatever war was going on, but he wasn't sure he would if anything happened again...

Sammy was kind of sad to see Anti disappear but he was gone before she could say anything. "Well I have to admit something. I have been gone for awhile too. I decided to stay with my kids for awhile. Keegan disappeared for alittle bit and I only just got back in touch with them. But Sophia tells me that a fight broke out at the wizarding bank, Matt Lestrange killed Ne'Os Emof, and their doing something at the Ministry that is keeping people out of the building. That is all that I know for now. When we get back you can look at a news paper." Sammy said walking along side Varod and watching the path at the same time.

"Alright...what's going on at Hogwarts? Do you know that?" V asked, knowing the historic school had always played a major part in things. "Old Ne'os is dead...maybe now he's not crazy. Better dead than what happened to him... Poor guy..."

He remembered the time when they had been friends and Varod looked away from Samantha, sad that he had lost such a great ally and friend...

"But Matt... Everything's upside down. Matt used to be horrible, and he's still annoying either way. But Ne'os was a good man..."

Sammy could tell that he was regreting his decision to come out here, but she could also see that he was confused. "I know alot is upside down. But Matt is the Minister of Magic, he is also Sophia's new father. The DE's have been taking over more and more of school but I won't know more about that until I get back to school. It's only just summer and I am having to do the same year over again." Sammy said feeling his stairs on her neck or maybe it was Anti's. She stopped when she got close to where her kids and father was. "Alright, this is where my kids and father are waiting for me. Let me just tell him to go on home and we can talk more, unless you would like to come home with us?" Sammy asked him wondering when the last time it was that he had taken a shower.
