"You're right. I bet Rob had no idea she really had so many big brothers who will kick his sorry tail for mistreating her. I think we're taking that worse than the fact that he was selling illegal wizarding potions and making millions doing it. I think I'm far angrier that he was so abusive to Khaat. If he ever hurts her again, I will kill him. That's a promise." He rose and went to Abbey's room, waved his wand and said, "Shrink and Pack!"
Then he went back to Khaat's closet and repeated the spell, her dresser drawers, her personal things, and ordered them to also "Shrink and Pack." He found some of her personal items in the bathroom and ordered them to "Shrink and Pack."
He drew out several tiny, shrunken boxes from his pocket and set them on the bedroom floor and enlarged them. "That shouldl help, I think," he said. "I'm sure you can make them bigger if you need to. Let's see if we can get her moved in one load. Oh, and I'm going to check her study. She is such a bookworm If I know her, she has some special things or books in her study we don't want to leave behind. I'm going to let you stay here and supervise in case Khaat's magic is still here. Robert said it got a bit wonky here from time to time.
He went downstairs and was greeted by an ottoman that thought it was a dog. Apparently it had been sleeping in the study. It yipped and barked and ran excitedly at his feet. Brian laughed out loud, truly amused by an overgrown footstool that thought it was a dog. "Okay, You can go," he laughed. He shrank the footstool and put it in his pocket, telling it to be still.
He went through her bookshelves and took some of her most worn, favorite books, anything of Remus's, and her important papers. He knew too well where she would hide things, and took her most private things. He took anything that Khaat would consider of any value.
He came back out and found the furniture crowding around him. "Oh, so you all want to go, huh? Well, I don't know if I have room for all of you. Lets try this. Go back to your places, please." The furniture obeyed and he cast a deep sleep spell on all the furniture so it would not grieve Khaat's being gone and the house being empty.
He went back upstairs. "Crazy house. What do you know about this ottoman that thinks its a dog? I decided to take it. I shrank it and put it in my pocket. I presume she knows about this crazy footstool?"
