The Blessing

Hyde saw the temple and took a deep breath, just because her whole family was happy for her and had been waiting for Mashara to join her in life...didn't mean they had the blessing in stone. She was nervous, but who wouldn't be? She had never thought this day would come for her and now within three days she was engaged, making love with the man she loved and about to get their wedding blessing.

"Oh Mashara...I'm nervous." She said.

Gackt ,obachan,grandpasan,mamachan,and chichi had all dressed up in their finest clothes, they looked for all the world like a clan of yakuza bosses meeting someone,obachan and mamachan had looked the most intimdating out of all of them , obachan with her tallness of of six feet and and mamachan with that flaming red hair of hers and blue eyes. mamachan did not look happy, she had her arms folded and was holding her jade dragon sword. "They are late, when is that man going to show with my daughter, bad enough he kept her out all night with no word if they were allright, i was up all night sick with worry ."he tried to calm his mother down as he knew she had a very bad temper and mashara was going to be in big trouble if he had angered "the mamachan."

mashara loked at Hyde as he hekd her hand "I know you are " he lifted it and kissed the back of it " just tell me if you want to wait longer , I love you and want to be with you all the rest of my life , be it as husband and wife or boyfreind and girl freind " he said "but if thngs are moving, any children i'd have with you I want to have both out names, then i'd like to, no I want to do this no matter how long we wait " he stood now facing her " but I still have your mamachan to face for keeping you out all night " he said crindging as he spoke

Hyde shook her head, "It isn't marring you that I am worried about love, it is facing the family." She winced, "Especially Mamachan." She looked back and took a deep breath and squared her shoulders. "All right let us get this over with babe, the sooner the better."

The family gathered at the top of the temple with their arms folded and looking unapproving as mamachan parted them and stood in front with her sword pointing at mashara.
'MASHARA MORMITO !Zurui chibi(sneaky dwarf)! YOU STAY OUT ALL HOURS WITH MY DAUGHTER , AND YES I KNOW WHAT YOU LOT GET UP TO THESE DAY, AND WITH NO WORD AT ALL TO SAY YOU BOTH ARE ALLRIGHT AND NOT CHOPPED UP INTO BITS AND PEICES BY SOME CRAZY? LETTING A POOR MOTHER PACE THE FLOOR UP AND DOWN SICK WITH WORRY? AND MAKE THE KAZAMA LOOSE FACE BECAUSE HYDEIKO COULDNT BE FOUND WHEN PEOPLE BRINGING ENGAGEMENT GIFTS ASKED WHERE THE BOTH OF YOU WERE? COME ALONE AND FACE ME AND ANSWER FOR YOUR DEEDS."mamachan said making poor gackt hold to abby with dear life at his mothers voice.

Abby looked at Gackt puzzled she ahd never seen Mamachan like this "shes scary" she said not knowing if she was joking with them or seriouse, when Gackt held her she held him back still wondering what was going on "gackt is she going to harm him?" she asked softly into his ear as he clung to her , Ryuu gave a soft cry and she moved to teh incubator picking him up to comfort him.

Hyde walked in front of Mashara and raised her chin, fire dancing in her violet eyes. "I have not lived in the temple for ten years, you should be used to me not coming home here. And we were perfectly safe and I am sorry people were bringing gifts, as we have not even told anyone but Gackt, Abby and Obachan. So if they found out and took it upon themselves it is their own faults we were not here."

mashara saw hyde step in front of him, but stepped around her his head held high " I am not afraid , we are both grown men and woman and as Hyde has said she has her own place, if they chose to come then its there problem if we are not here we can't be expected to be here when we don't know they are coming " he moved to stand in front of her his eyes looking into hers his face fixed and seriose he knew he had to show her he was strong and could defend himself, he as not the baka of past but mashara morimoto the soon to be husband of Hyde kazama.

Mamachan's eyed hydeiko ."You stand up for your husband to be very well Hydeiko, just as i taught you to, and as for you mashara mormito.."she said as she walked down the steps to him and gently tapped her sword on his bottom."You faced up to me like a strong man, thats all i wanted to know, that you would be strong for hydeiklo and not a timid mouse like you were when you said no to her all those years ago."mamachan then knelt down at masharas feet."welcome to the family, you past the test mashara my future son, please forgive me for scareing hydeiko and you, but i had to test how you two felt for each other as traditon, i had to go through that with hydeiko and gackts father, and then obachan gave him a spanking with her sword."she said as she got up and kissed both mashara and hydeiko on their cheeks.

abby looked puzzled "gackt that was a test ?" she said softly to him "is that somthing we'd have to do?" she asked hoping his awnser would be no. she gently rocked Ryuu in her arms as she gently hummed a lullaby to him son he stopped and looked at her a twinkle in her eye. she smied " defianly the one the girls are after he has your look all ready" she said chuckling handing him to Gackt.
