Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. ''Ummm...nearsighted I think. I have been wearing them all the time since I was 5 or so and I forgot what it was again. But I think it is nearsightedness.'', he said, wondering. Really, he forgot that fact. He got used to these glasses that he actually forgot which problem he had. He laughed. At him, an at her sweet, childish game. It was a very innocent joke, and it added some extra charm to the whole situation.

''Your worst state is nothing compared to what I have seen during the course of my life, but that is less important. I see through the shell, through those.... attacks and I see, as I have said, an interesting, smart and beautiful woman. And that is what I will continue to look at. Your attacks are brief and controllable and they do not scare me or make me defect. Those quirks are, in a way, very cute.'', he said.

The Clock!? - Page 5 Empty Re: The Clock!?

It was a bold move, one that probably shouldn’t have been made, but she didn’t give it any
thought at the time, in fact, she wasn’t sure what took over her and made her do so. Keera
pushed herself up on her tiptoes and kissed him quickly, it was only a small peck on the lips,
but she had the feeling that she had a mistake the second she did it. She stepped down off
of her toes her hands in her back pockets. Smmooooth. Keera rolled her eyes at her
thoughts, smooth in a good way, or in a bad way? she asked herself, furrowing her
eyebrows. Well, that’s up to the gentleman you just kissed, I believe. Keera nodded, that
was true.

Keera took her hands out of her pockets and swung her arms back and forth a couple times
at her sides. “I wasn’t suppost to do that, was I?” she asked. She wasn’t embarrassed,
surprisingly; she personally didn’t have a problem with her ‘decision’ – it wasn’t really a dec-
ision on her part, more of a spur-of-the-moment kind of deal. The fact that she had only known
this man for a few hours popped up in her head, You forgot that, didn’t you?. Keera nod-
ded again in reply, shut up.

As he finished his last sentence, another surprise. As soon as he saw her rise on her feet, he knew what was going to follow, but it still confused him. She kissed him, she gave him a small peck on the lips, but it felt like a real kiss. He was confused, for the first time on his life, he was actually so confused. Well, it was the second time, but the first time happened a long time ago. He was happy, overjoyed, but he did not know how to express it. He was just calm, staring at her. She was so beautiful, so attractive, innocent and cute in the same time and that was astonishing.

Then she asked her question. Of course it was not the wrong thing to do, surprising, but not wrong. But, his philosophical explanation would just kill the excitement of the moment. He bent down, doing this for the second time in his life, only, and kissed her on the lips. His kiss was real and it lasted a little longer. Her lips felt good, they were warm, but shaking a little, which only made the moment more special. After a short while, he ceased his kiss. ''And was this, also, wrong of me to do?'', he asked.

Keera was taken aback by Wilson’s kiss. She had expected things to get awkward and for the
kiss she had given him to be pushed aside and not to be brought up again, but for the billionth
time that night, Keera Mast was wrong. Dead wrong. Keera let her face linger near his for a
few moments after they broke apart, thinking, as usual. Smmooooth. Keera laughed, wo-
uld you stop saying that?
She swept her vest backwards to rest her hands on her hips, as
she had when Wilson had first arrived. “Nice meeting you,” she said, grinning another of her
yellow-toothed, Cheshire Cat grins.

Not sure what to say next, Keera watched him silently, even after all of that drama and talk she
still hadn’t managed to figure out any of his tells. She was forced to accept the fact that he didn’t
have any, and just resort to guessing at his thoughts, which would prove to be difficult, she kn-
ew that much. Keera laughed and brought the back of her hand to her mouth, amused for no
obvious reason.

Oh what a strange day it had been for her; she had started it off by nearly breaking a young
student’s nose, then she met a very confusing and intelligent professor who, at first, had appea-
red to be a very distant person, who she had ended up kissing later on. Too bad you have to
leave
, her thoughts reminded her. Dang, she had almost completely forgotten. She wouldn’t be
able to return to Hogwarts for few weeks, maybe even longer, depending on how things went.
Poisoning someone… the thought made her blood run cold, but it had to be done, it had already
been planned out. Keera realized she was thinking too much and pushed them away once again,
it wasn’t the time for those thoughts.

He was silent. Yes, this was very bold of him, very... unpredictable. Although he was always unpredictable, this time... the emotions were the one to blame. An affective reaction that, luckily, had cost him nothing, but still made him think it through. All his life he fought against affective reactions, he was always a rationalist and now, her full figure made him react before thinking it through. It was like a reflex and it made him worry. Was he losing his rational side?

Actually no, he wasn't. She was beautiful, smart, attractive and sweet and he liked here. Therefore, his kiss was not a sing of losing his rationality, it was, in fact, a sign of his rationality. The fact is that the only rational thing to do to such a person after she kisses you was to kiss her back. He looked at her smile and smiled himself. Yes, she was very sweet when she was smiling. But, he felt something, he saw it in her eyes. A moment of distraction that was enough to cause suspicion. ''Keera, my dear, is there something you wish to tell me?'', he asked with a friendly smile.

Keera waved it off, “no, I was simply thinking of plans I have made. You see, my mind likes to
wonder off when It is least convenient,” she explained, hoping that it would be left at that. Ke-
era didn’t want to have that conversation, the one where he tried to talk her out of her ridicul-
ous idea, which was what she thought would happen if she explained fully. She was still telling
the truth, which was good, but the whole truth was not needed at the time.

Scratching her head once, Keera rocked back and forth on her feet, switching from her toes to
her heals simply because she wanted something to do with herself to keep her from feeling out
of place. “What are you thinking?” she asked since she didn’t feel like guessing; she liked to sa-
ve that sort of thinking for poker, and only poker if she could. Keera wondered how things were
going to work from that point forward. She wondered if after she left, and the whole wizarding
world knew what she had done, if he would still be willing to help her when she needed help, to
assist her. Or perhaps, to just be there. It was a strange thing to want someone there with you
simply to be there. She understood it though, she had spent the last ten or more years completley
alone; she was tired of the silence.

He put that half-smile on that he would usually put when he caught someone in a lie. But, he was not angry at her, he did not even care that she lied. But that would, somehow, not stop him from finding the truth out. And then she started to ''play'', to sway like a little girl, which was pretty sweet.

And then, the question came. A brilliant one. She had just helped him a lot, unknowingly. ''What am I thinking? I am thinking what could be so dangerous, so malicious that you do not want to tell me... there is something you would like to tell me, I know that, but I am thinking what it is. What could you possibly do that you do not want to tell me? Please, Keera, my dear, what is it?'', he asked.

Smooth. Keera mentally slapped herself, that comment just relates to everything, doesn’t it?
Her curiosity had gotten the best of her, and now she had to face it. She sighed and nodded, takin-
g a strand of her hair in her hands, pulling the ends apart absentmindedly, splitting the ends. It was
a habit of hers- once of many, many habits –that normally started up whenever she was frustrated
with herself.

“I’m leaving and when I come back, I’ll have done something that will have every Auror in the ministry
against me, every member of the order of the phoenix, every student that cares for justice- but I don’t
care an ounce about what any of those people think, for if they care so much about my enemies, they obviously aren’t worth my time…” Keera didn’t finished. That much was good enough, or so she hoped.
It is my opinion about myself that I am worried about she finished the sentence in her head.

Keera brought the strand of hair she had been playing with up to her face so that she could see th-
e damage she had done. She shrugged, the ends were completely split, going off in different direct-
ions to such an extreme that the two halves weren’t even touching. That was what had happened to
the rest of her hair- which was frizzy and stuck out at all ends, curling in odd ways, falling somewh-
ere near her shoulders. Keera dropped the strand of hair reluctantly, wanting to tear at it for a little
bit longer, and stuffed her hands inside her pocket. She looked up at Wilson’s face, still rocking on
her feet.

Wilson looked at her and nodded. He presumed she would say something similar. ''You are going to kill a man. Well, I guess that is... good enough.'', he said, calmly. He was not shocked at this, nor would he try to dissuade her from doing it. He had seen people die, he had seen people get killed and this was nothing new or strange to him. Yes, it was immoral and he did not agree with it, but he is not the Head of the Justice Department so he would just ignore it. He remembers that even McCoy, whose sense for Justice was out of this world, allowed some murders or killings to go unnoticed, being very liberal, but still very righteous. That is why he liked McCoy, he never looked at things as if they were black or white, good or bad, without examining the middle, the gray part.

''Just, my dear, be careful. I would suggest using poison, potassium cyanide would be quick and effective, and try to do it when there is a crowd around him or her. Makes you less vulnerable to accusations. Or, do it incognito, use the Polyjuice Potion, pretend you are his great aunt or something and be subtle. But, if anyone asks, I do not know about this not have I suggested anything to you. We shall see what happenes afterwards and discus your protection.'', he replied.

It wasn’t a joyful laugh, or one that expressed amusement, in fact, it sounded rather frightening
when it left her throat, drifting through the air like a group of winged bugs. She was laughing
because she was shocked, genuinely shocked. She didn’t understand. He wasn’t even fazed
by it; he didn’t try to talk her out of, and he certainly wasn’t angry with her. Did he really just
give me advice on how to kill? And is that concern I detect?
Keera moved forward and kissed
him abruptly, without a single protest from her thoughts.

She didn’t understand Wilson, and it was because of that fact that she was so intrigued by him.
She had just admitted that she was in fact planning a murder, and he warned her to be careful.
What was wrong with him? There had to be something wrong inside his mind to make him think
in such a way. “You just as bad as I am,” she told him, taking one step back thinking about all of
what had happened from the time Wilson had stepped inside the greenhouse, up until that very
second. Maybe I’m not the only messed up being here… She rubbed her face, You serious-
ly didn’t believe you were, did you? Your not unique, hun, trust me,
her thoughts corrected her
bluntly.
