Jen strode into the meeting with her long army styled coat billowing out behind her. Her hair was pulled back off of her face in a bun and tendrils of hair framed her face as and when they fell out of the grouping of hair on top of her head. She had sunglasses covering her chestnut brown eyes, probably to add to the mystery and a smear of red lipstick across her lips. She’d gotten so used to slapping the stuff on that she didn’t have to think much of it anymore. Touch ups were done later but the lipstick was pretty easy to put on.
She looked around in interest, taking in the faces of the people. She recognised Walker, the man from the farm and raised an eyebrow in interest. There were a few people there she didn’t know but something struck her about one man. He looked like... no, it couldn’t have been. Jen made a mental note to talk to Khaat and Robert later about the Lupin genes. She noticed Gabrielle’s puppy-dog and Jen couldn’t help but narrow her eyes at him. He had no right to lay into Walker like that even if he didn’t mean any harm. The poor bloke had been through enough.
Jen took a seat, crossing one leather clad leg over the other. What possessed her to wear leather she didn’t know but she had a pair of boots that only looked good with the leather trousers and she wanted to wear the boots so there was no way out of it. Jen wasn’t complaining though. The boots and leather trousers were stupidly comfortable and a lot easier to move around in than stuff she’d worn before. Jen cast a look at the man that interested her so and bit her lip. There was a similarity between him and Khaat that was odd to her and even more with Robert. She promised herself she’d talk to her brother later about the Lupin that Remus had left behind.
Shaking off the weird feeling, Jen turned her head to look at Gabrielle who seemed eager to start the meeting just as much as Jen was to end it. “Gabrielle forgive me but why are we here?”
