He hopped his broom and soared off.

She laughed at him as she soared off racing him to the apartment. Once they were there she looked at him, "As if I want money or anything like that." she told him laughing, "Or did you exactly forget what my family has an abundance of?" She flashed him a quick smile.

"No, but I will give you this back," Varod said, tossing her her dagger. "I'm a very good pickpocket."
He laughed, sitting down on his couch and counting the money. Before running, he had removed the credit cards. He may be a vigilante breaking many laws, but he was no identity thief.

"Pick pocket?" she asked as she caught it perfectly and put it back in it holder that laid against her bare thigh. "More like you had to reach up my skirt to get it." she said looking at him.

She had grown angry at him, "And you better than anyone know I'm not retarted you little..." she stopped herself from saying it not wanting to put herself down to his level. She took a deep breath. "Maybe it would be best if I left."

It was taking all Varod's willpower not to roll around on the floor laughing. He bit the inside of his cheek to keep a straight face.

"I feed off....food?" Varod tasted the blood he was bringing out of his cheek to keep from laughing. He stood and went to the kitchen to grab a snack and picked up an apple.
"See, Christy? FOOD."

Christy couldn't help but laugh at that. The seriousness he was bringing in caused her to drop to the floor in laughter. She sat there like that for a few good minutes til tears had welled up in her eyes and she was having trouble catching her breath. She couldn't help it. Every time she looked up at him with the apple she started laughing again.
