Varod picked up the coke and took a gulp.
"The latter," he muttered. This wasn't entirely true: he wanted to spend time with the only person he had ever let in.

She looked up at him curiously. Something about that statement didn't seem entirely true but she knew not to press the matter. She really didn't want to hurt him more by getting close to him. "Its not a problem." she said looking at him, "I needed to get away even just for a little bit."

Varod attempted a smile but failed.
"Heh, I miss the good times...before that (insert bad word) took me away..." he said.
Staring at the floor, he thought about what they could have had together.
But that was never meant to be.
He knew now, without a doubt, (OOC: that Kingdom Hearts, is light!) that after all of this....they couldn't be together.

Christy looked at him. She hadn't told him about the fact that she and Nick weren't exactly together right now. She felt so bad for him he had seemed so heart broken and it was her fault. She cupped his face in her hands. "I'm so sorry Varod." she said as she kissed him on the lips sweetly. When she pulled away she looked at him, "You know in case I never get to do that again." she said smiling at him.

Varod pulled away.
"You won't," he promised. "I won't be with you no matter! Even if I still have affection for-"
He gasped and stopped himself.
His resolution was breaking...should he go back out with her? He sighed.
"I still love you and I would do anything for you, we just...can't be together...I understand you looked for me and I appreciate that..."

"I never expected you to." she replied as quickly as he trailed off. "Don't get me wrong what we had was great and everything but how you feel is how you feel and whats the point in being with someone or trying to win them back if their heart is no longer yours to have." What she had said made perfect logic for someone who wasn't her. If it came down to it, she'd do everything in her power to win someone back that she had lost if it was necessary. "And you're welcome for me looking for you. I would have done it regardless because it was a vision and I tend to try to always follow my visions."

Varod broke.
He stared at her.....and kissed her.
"I'm sorry...I don't wanna be without you..." he said holding her close. "I'm sorry for saying I didn't want to be with you...."
Pulling away, Varod shook his head.
"I'm sorry..."

"What could you possibly be sorry for?" she asked looking at him surprised that he had kissed her. She wasn't surprised by what he had said to her about still wanting to be with her. It made her feel a little wrong because her heart truly did lie somewhere else and not with him. Even though a piece of it always would he could never hold her heart in his hands again. "If thats how you feel then there is nothing wrong with saying that."

"What are you talking about?" she asked looking at him confused. She wondered if he was having a conversation with just himself but she didn't want to be rude to him and ask if he was literally going insane.
