Varod snorted.
"Why should I care? And I didn't leave you behind, the proper thing to say would have been 'the girl I was taken from,' because by no means would I have left."
Suddenly, the news came on and announced something about a murderer.
"Wanna come with me on this run?" he asked Christy, standing up.

Christabelle looked at him. "You know exactly what I meant though and you know it." she replied. Her attention caught the news. It sounded like another werewolf or vampire attack in her opinion but she couldn't let Varod know she was in the confederacy. She smiled and looked at him, "Do I get to kill something?"

"I don't know, it depends on which is easier: capture or kill," Varod said with a sly smiled before slipping out of the door.
"Let's go," he whispered, darting into the night after putting a dislusionment charm on the pair of them.

"By the way your charm is rather on the weak side." she said judging it. Charms was after all her best subject her having come from Beauxbatons. She waived her wand strengthening the charm greater than he could have thought it would have been. "I'd rather kill something right now I've found out its much fun to do things like that if they deserve it." she said jogging after him.

"It's nighttime..." Varod muttered as they ran. He hopped one of the brooms around back and threw one to her.
"Let's haul!" he shouted, soaring into the air.

"I'm not riding this slow thing." she said as she summoned her thunderbolt from inside his apartment. She wanted something fast as she took off into the air. "There that is much better." she replied as she quickly caught up to him in the sky.

"It's not the broom," Varod told her. "It's the rider."
And with precision and skill, he deftly flew through the side streets and alleyways he knew so well.
This was his city.
His domain.
They soon came across a man standing over a woman and two children.
"There's our guy, I think!" he said, plowing into the man full speed.

"Its actually a bit of both." she replied. She after all knew her brooms very well...She had to as a Quidditch player after all. "Can I kill him please?" she asked looking at Varod drawing out her dagger.

"No, it's a normal human, so you can't," Varod said. With his normal magic-cloaking spell on so there would be no trace, he muttered "Incarcerus" pointing his wand at the man then using stupefy and obliviate on all muggles present.
"Job done."

"Aww you're no fun." she said looking at him. "Anyone that does that to a woman deserves that." she said as she watched him cast the charms. "So what now?"
