"You can?" she asked looking at him smiling sweetly again. It was a true veela smile for her though she didn't realize she was doing it. She was still making complete and total eye contact with him as well. "I know that but Godric's are close to mine." she said smiling bigger.

Oded made a small gasp as she smiled at him. He walked up to her brushing her fingers along her jawline not realizing what he was doing.

She looked up at him as he traced her jawline looking at him curiously. She didn't know what he was trying to do and she was so much younger than him if he was trying to make a move on her.

Oded stopped and realized what he was doing swearing to himself. "I have to go. I'm sorry." he said practically running from the room. He ran to the stables in effort to push everything from his mind. Oded walked over to Boston's stall and began petting him, he began calming down more easily.

She wasn't stupid. She realized what had happened. In her drunken state she had almost let someone take advantage of her using her veela abilities. The thought made her sick to her stomach as a maid came to show her to her room. She gratefully followed her there. Once she arrived she locked the door and started crying. She knew she would have to sober up now and no more excuses.

Oded grabbed his saddle and bridle putting them on Boston. He then lead him to the mounting block outside and said, "Let's go for a run." Boston reered up and then bolted down the long drive. 'What the hell is wrong with me?' he thought in his head as they ran.

Christy ended up crying herself to sleep feeling awful about what she had done. She slept through fitful nightmares the rest of the evening.

Oded didn't come back to the house until early morning looking like he had a rough night of riding. He dismounted and truged upstairs. He collasped on his bed still fully clothed as sleep began to claim him.
