O'Hurley Estates ~Mature~

Oded looked at her and shook his head walking from the room. He closed the door behind him as he walked towards the dining room. He sat at the head of the long table smiling as he saw the meal that was set before him. 'Mm Amelia has gotten more flare in the kitchen not that she needed it.' he thought as he began eating. There were boiled potatoes, steak cooked rare, and something that he didn't know what it was. He tasted it and he liked it not caring what it was called, He smiled and finished the plate. He got up and walked back to the library smiling as he walked. Oded walked into the library and walked up to one of the bookcases pulling down a book off it's shelf. He sat on one of the couches lounging as he began reading the thick novel.

She had finished writing in her journal by the time he had returned. She sighed at she had written the equivalent of several pages in there. It seemed to be the only thing that was keeping her functioning. Still it was her keeping things to herself but writing them down was a way for her to vent without anyone knowing. She looked up at Oded, "Did you enjoy your dinner?" she asked curiously.

Oded looked up and said, "yes it was very good. My cook is amazing." He then looked back at his book reading more then sighed. "I can't concentrate." he said getting up and putting the book back on the shelf. He walked over to the couch and sat back down lounging again closing his eyes.

Christy got up from her chair and walked over sitting down next to him, "Now why can't you seem to concentrate?" she asked looking at him curiously as she rubbed his shoulders not thinking anything of it as she did this.

Oded sighed as she rubbed his shoulder, "I don't know i just can't seem to concentrate on the words in the book. It's been happening more often than not." he said. His shoulder's had knots in them as she rubbed them. He winced slightly because they had hurt a little, but he didn't say anything.

She moved behind him sitting on the top half of the sofa as she continued to rub his neck and shoulders, "What is the book?" she asked leaning down to where she was almost whispering in his ear. "Do you think that maybe you shouldn't be reading that book?"

Oded heard her voice in his ear and it sent his heart racing. "It's a mystery...if i shouldn't be reading that book then what one should i be reading?" In the back of his mind there was a small voice screaming but he didn't hear it. The knots had disappeared but he didn't open his eyes because it felt good to have his shoulder rubbed.

"Obviously not that one." she replied as she started rubbing down his back, "Mysteries aren't all that interesting to begin with you know. I much prefer horror. They keep you in more suspense don't you think?" she asked curiously not realizing she was using her charms on him.

Oded could only nod as she rubbed further down his back. Then his conscious broke through and he jumped up off the couch. He shook his head as if to clear it and sighed deeply. He became angry at himself for letting it go that far. 'What the hell is wrong with me?' he thought to himself angrily. 'D**n her veela charms.'

"I..is something wrong?" she asked looking at him as she got off of the couch. She wasn't intending on doing anything that would make him uncomfortable but she also wasn't aware that in her drunken state she was using her veela charms.
