Veronica made her way into the warmth of the Great Hall. A handful of students were lingering in the Entrance Hall and the din of their voices echoed off the walls and into the Hall. The glow of the hundreds of candles winked onto the golden plates, giving a touch of homeliness to the Hall. All it needed was the delicious scents with it and it would be a treat to Veronica's senses. She stood in the doorway, inhaling the exquisite smells wafting off of the dishes upon the tables before gently returning to reality as her feet carried her to the Gryffindor table.
It seemed to be rather populous that evening, seeing as it had the most amount of students. Her stomach rumbled with hunger, since she had had nothing to eat since breakfast, and she lost no time in sitting down across from a group of Gryffindors chatting together. "Hullo, strangers!" Veronica declared to no one in particular as she smiled brightly before making herself comfortable. Meanwhile, the hall slowly filled up as more students entered, eager to tuck into their meals and then have a good night's sleep.
