Chase glared at him. "Fine I'm going to my room."She said standing up and starting up the stairs. He wasn't being truthful she could tell. Whatever it was that was trying to kill her, it wasn't a Werewolf. And it wasn't a Vampire..whatever it was, it was something he didn't want to say.

ne'os set up a spell so she coudnt make it down the stairs without a silent alarm in his head going off and told a patronus to sit outside her window.

Chase sat in her room grumpily. She could see the glow of the patronus outside and Dragon was barking loudly, making it impossible for her to sleep. Leaving her room she walked down the hallway to her kitchen. (As there are MANY kitchens in this house) She got out a butterbeer and started down the hallway again, going down the back staircase to see how far she could get before getting caught. She still had her traveling cloak on so it wasn't that bad.

ne'os heard the alarm go off he moved to the bottom of the stairs waiting for her.

Chase looked at him and sighed. "aww ya caught me."She said sighing. "I don't appreciate being spied on by patronus'."She said glaring at him. "Would you please remove the one from my balcony, Dragon is getting upset."She said staring at him. "you can come upstairs in my room if you need to."She said glaring at him. "But Dragon hates being watched when he sleeps."

"sure the patronus will be moved to under the balcony so Dragon can sleep and no thank you i will stay down here and patrol" he said.

Chase rolled her eyes and went back upstairs. Taking her traveling cloak off she collapsed on the bed. Dragon had quieted down, and there wasn't a sound to be heard coming from anywhere. She was exhausted, but she couldn't sleep. Where had the day gone? His explanations weren't enough for her. There had to be a better reason for what was happening.

ne'os moved to the living room and lit a fire in the fireplace with his wand and started to watch it slowly increasing his senses so he could hear or feel everything going on in the area.

Halfway through the night Chase woke with a start. She hadn't remembered falling asleep, but she was sprawled out on her bed. Something had moved outside. She jumped out of bed and went to Dragon. He was growling darkly. She glanced out of her balcony looking around for the source of the noise as Dragon started to bark.

ne'os heard the barking and opened his eyes he charged up the stairs and opened the door "whats wrong?" he asked.
