Sterling awoke, and the water poured out of his lungs. He started coughing and spitting more water than he knew lungs could be able to be filled with. He blacked out again.

"Sterling!" Chase gasped watching him throw up water. She watched him black out again and immediately went back into pushing air into his lungs. His nose plugged, her lips on his, blowing hair into him hard. Every so often she would stop and push on his chest before moving back to his mouth, hoping this would work. If he died because she had moved away down there..she didn't want to think of that!

Sterling returned to consciousness, but he didn't open his eyes. Chase's mouth was in his... he was guiltily and secretly enjoying it for a split second before he opened his eyes and gasped. "Thankyou," he gasped.

Chase moved back and looked down at him. "Oh you're ok!"She gasped and pulled him to her. Pulling his head up and holding onto him. "I thought I had killed you."She sobbed tears falling down her face. "I was so afraid you'd died!"She cried holding onto him tightly. "I would never have been able to forgive myself!"She sobbed.

Sterling held back onto her tightly, glad for an excuse to do so; even if it had almost cost his life. "I would have forgiven you," Sterling said lovingly as she cried.

Chase whimpered softly clutching his shoulders. "Please don't do that again!"She sobbed hugging him before she moved away again tears falling down her cheeks. "I would have never forgiven myself!"She said her shoulders raking from the shock of almost losing him.

Sterling reached forward and hugged her again. "But of course I would die for you," he said. "And I won't Chase," he said, trying to be calm as he stroked her hair. He smiled and rested his head on her shoulder... before he spasmed and water came gushing out of his nose and mouth. He was on the floor coughing again.

"Oh I'm sorry!" he said when he got back up, legs shaking.

Chase yelped and jumped away from him when he started to cough. "Don't apologize! I'm sorry! Had I not moved away down there, you wouldn't be like this!"She sobbed reaching down and hugging him.

Sterling laughed between his coughs. "But if you hadn't moved away, you would be cheating on your boyfriend again!" he said, trying to be playful and joking again. "It's not your fault," he said, with a brave attempt at a smile before he fell back into a coughing fit, water oozing out with each spasm.

Chase shivered. He was right. Had she stayed down there much longer, she would have cheated a lot worse on Jesse. Her cheeks flared red and she whimpered softly watching him choke on water. She held out his wand to him unsure of what to do now. She felt so horrible. She was such a cheater and she didn't know why!
