Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Sterling sat up immediately, startled. "Oh! No! Er... don't worry about it." he said. It was unbearable to see her apologizing when she couldn't do anything wrong if she tried. He gave a feeble attempt at a smile.

"Aww, but you're not looking happy."She said leaning over to him. "Is there anything I can do to help you?"She asked looking at him carefully. "I mean, anything!"She said looking him in the eyes. "I don't like it when you put you're head down like that, it makes me think something is wrong!"She said her hand on his shoulder.

Sterling smiled and relaxed. He stared back at her. "You're already doing more for me than anybody else. Thanks," he said, smiling warmly.

"Sorry, bad habit," he said when she mention putting his head down. It was a habit... so he was partially truthful.

"What do you mean?"She asked looking at him. She jumped out of her desk and moved around so she was on her knees in front of his desk, putting her hands on it and putting her chin on top of her hands. "No one else has done anything for you?"She asked looking up at him her hair falling into her face again. She blew it away but it landed right back in place. She shrugged her shoulder and looked at him a small crease between her eyes as she thought about how no one would help him. He seemed nice enough.

Sterling sighed. "No, not really." he replied, putting his head down before he popped back up, remembering it bothered her. Hair was on her face again... he longed desperately to move it back into place as he had done before. He restrained himself for a few moments before he succumbed, tucking it safely back behind her ear. "Thank-you." he whispered, almost inaudibly as he released the stray lock of hair.

Chase smiled as he moved her hair out of her face again. He looked like he longed to touch her face and his hand always stayed a bit to long when he did that. She smiled slightly, this time deciding to have some fun. When he tucked it behind her ear she smiled and closed her eyes softly. Opening them again when his hand was gone from her face.

Sterling gazed intently at her face. She seemed content and happy about something. He smothered the thought away.

The light of the full moon flooded into the room, illuminating Chase's ghostly white face into a bright silver light, overshadowing the light of the embers remaining of the fire. There was a distant howl of a werewolf somewhere in the forbidden forest.

Chase smiled. The moon had lit up his face to brightly and clearly for the first time and she immediately blurted out, without thinking. "What are you thinking?"She asked looking up at him, her chin still resting on her elbows on the front of his desk. She smiled at him carefully watching his face for any reactions to what she had just said.

Sterling was so startled by the question he almost fell off his chair. For the first time in his life all his thoughts were centered on a single thing... a single person instead of fleeting from one study topic to the other in his mind. But he lied, and said "Er, werewolves. It's a full moon, they'll be out today..." he said awkwardly.

Chase frowned slightly and then nodded. "Yeah, they are."She said glancing at the window. She had seen the shock, the moment it had taken him to gather himself together. She may not be observant, but she could be when she wanted to! And he had just lied. "Now tell me, what are you REALLY thinking about?"She asked moving up so that her chin was off the desk. She looked him squarely in the eyes, looking from one to the other. Though it would look odd to him because of her slightly lazy eye on her left side.
