Care of Magical Creatures: Basic & NEWT Class 002

The first class had been more successful that he has really expected. The students had been okay with having a new Professor and that had been intrigued with the hippogriff he'd shown them. It had been a truly wonderful creature and it had accepted most of them, a few were even able to ride it, which they obviously enjoyed.

Now, with the morning mist still around, he stood in front of the Forbidden Forest. He'd left his students a message on the board at the paddock, telling them to meet him there, because for this lesson they would need to go a bit further into the Forest than they usually would. Today the lesson would be on unicorns. He'd already gotten one ready for the lesson but they would have to go into the Forest for the lesson.

Now all he had to do was wait for them to arrive before he could go any further.

Cecilia was in a hurry to get to Care for magical creatures class, as she ran down the sloops toward the Paddocked where they would normally have class she wondered what they would be doing today. When she got there she looked around for Mr. Collins and not seeing him frowned a little. Then she spotted his note. Smiling she continued to run down the familial pat to the forests opening. Just before reaching the entrance she slowed to a walk and fixed her clothing and hair. Then she saw him and her gaze got all day dreamy. When she realized it she shook her head and continued to move towards him.

“Good Morning Professor,” Cecilia said Smiling up at him, “Can you tell me what we’re doing today? I don’t think I’m going to be able to wait till everyone gets here! Is it as awesome as the last lesson... well our talk afterward not the actual lesson…” She let her voice trail off after she had relized she had been babbling in a squealing voice.

Slowly Nathaniel walked towards the Care of Magical Creature class. He was in no hurry to go to class and be chewed out for missing the last lesson. He walked with his shoved down in his pockets. He was passed by a running Ravenclaw. He wasn’t sure who they were but he was sure they were in a hurry to get to the same class he didn’t want to go to at all. He fallowed the blurry figure until he finally caught up with her at the forest. When he realized that it was Cecilia Krum and she was babbling in that annoying voice of hers he scowled and almost turned around. But he knew he couldn’t if he was ever going to be the Minister of Magic.
“I’d tell her just so she’d shut up.” Nathaniel spoke coldly and he was clearly annoyed.

When Serena arrived to Class she scowled seeing she was early and then again seeing that she was the youngest person there. She looked around then went over and poked Nathaniel; he was an older Slytherin boy. At least he didn’t look like he was excited to be here. “What’s her problem?” Serena asked in a low whisper, “Think she has a crush on the teacher?” it would be funny if she did. Everyone knew that teachers couldn’t date their students! If they did they’d be fired and possibly go to jail or something like that. “Professor Collins, My kitty fallowed me, Socks fallows me everywhere.” Serena said, “I don’t know how to get him to stop fallowing me, and I don’t want him to go into the forest...” She pouted a little playing her cute little girl card.

The trees at the entrance of the Forest swayed with the icy breeze that blew past him. "Good morning Cecilia." he smiled at the Ravenclaw girl as she approached. He chuckled softly and shook his head. "I'm sorry I can't until everyone's here. Patience is a virtue Cecilia, remember that." he smiled at her again.

Just then another student, Nathaniel Mulciber, appeared as well. "Well, it is nice of you to join us Mr. Mulciber. Were you too busy to attend the last class, or did you just not want to come? Whatever the case not a good impression." he frowned slightly at the seventh year. "Now, where is your sister, if you know. Will she grace us with het appearance?" he asked the Slytherin boy coldly. The past class only his sister had appeared and she hadn't really done much, but she had done the basics that were nessesary to complete the lesson.

The third person to arrive was one of his youngest students, Serena Middleton. Jake had always had a sort of soft spot for children and he'd never been sure why he was like that. So when she began to say something about her cat following her everywhere, he smiled at her and sighed. "Well Ms. Middleton, you can distract him with something or allow him to come into the Forest with you but he'd need to stay close to you. And you must not let him out of your sight." he spoke softly to the young girl.

“Socks aren’t easy to distract. The only things that work are my friend’s kitty and a nice long cat nap, but Ashy and Dukey are not here and then he isn’t tired.” Serena said standing with her hands linked behind her back as she swayed back and forth. She bent down and picked up the fat cat and held him close to her. “Aren’t you Socksy boy?” she scratched his head before he climbed up on his master’s shoulder and complained to Jake in an odd no cat meow. “I think he wants Dukey to be here too. Why don’t you go find Dukey? ” she glanced up at the cat but he didn’t budge. She shrugged her one shoulder and started to hum.

The last thing she wanted to do today was attend that stupid Care of Magical Creatures class. It wasn't that she hadn't liked the new professor or anything, it was more like she had a feeling that something was going to go wrong during today's class. When she had a weird feeling like that, it was usually because something was going to happen, something that she probably wouldn't like.

She walked down to the paddock and saw the note Professor Collins had left on the board for everyone to see. She stared blankly at it for a moment, before she realized that by him merging the two classes together she would have to work along side her older brother in this class. She groaned softly and tilted her head back swearing softly at the sky. Well, whatever she had to get over her protests toward her brother and get going to the class.

So, Dani made her way to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest slowly, trying to take as long as humanly possible to get there just so she wouldn't have to spend as much time with her brother. Soon though, she found herself nearing the entrance of the Forest and with a heavy sigh, Dani approached the group of students surrounding the Professor. She immediately saw her older brother and passed by him without saying a word to him. "Good morning Professor." she said quietly, with a small smile.

It was time for Care of the Magical Creatures one of Kiara's favorite classes for she was rather good at it but not as good as shewas with Charms. As she headed down the sloping lawns of Hogwarts she headed down to the paddock but stopped as she read the note and sighed. She really didn't like the forest at all, but she was a Gryffindor so she had to be brave. As she walked towards te forest she reached the head of it as she seen a couple of students waiting. "Good morning Professor Collins."said Kiara softly addressing the head of her house.

Kiara looked around wondering if this was all the students that were coming to class today. She figurede that this was it, but she wasn't for sure. Kiara wondered why they were going into the forest for but then she thought maybe they were studying about unicorns. That would be neat if they did for Kiara loved Unicorns she was fasinated by them. But she was sure whatever Professor Collins had planned out it would be a good lesson. As she waited with the rest of the students she shifted her bookbag on her hoping more Gryffindors would show up.

Juliet walked to forbidden forrest quietly taking in her surroundings, she had care of magical creatures now, she sighed and puffed her cheeks gently. She wasn't ready ready for class, she knew alot of people who disliked her was there, in her class, she had pranked them actually and knew they would try to blame her for something. She just didn't know what yet, her goal though was to be a bit more nicer, though it wasn't like her, she didn't want to be nice, but she had to, she got get into serious trouble, she had decided to pick a hufflepuff, though it wasn't the smartest thing to do, most hufflepuffs weren't very....they weren't like her at all, and she wanted someone like dani. Not some sissy girl or boy who'd be scared of her.

She looked up realizing she had reached her destination and looked at the swarm of students around the professor, stupid suck ups. She watched each face of the students and rolled her eyes. She looked down at her feet and frowned, she wanted to be like that a bit, and decided she would rather have her somewhat of a secret life. she didn't care if people hated her, as long as she had Danielle. She smiled and looked up to see Dani, smiling she reached her friend. "hey Dani." she said quietly, but smiling still.

Damitrius was excited to go to the Care of Magical Creatures class today. She had heard that they would be going into the Forbidden Forest for class today, and that was basically the only reason she was so excited. The Forest fasinated Damitrius, she always wondered what it was like in there and she always wanted to go exploring in there. The Forest didn't scare her in the slightest, then again not many things scared Damitrius, she was, after all, a Gryffindor.

The fifth year Gryffindor girl ran to the Forbidden Forest's entrance after reading the note the Professor had left on the board. The wind hit her face lightly as she ran and she just smiled as she approached the group of students that were surrounding the Professor. She skidded to a halt as she neared them and saw that three of the students there were Slytherins. She sighed and shook her head a bit, before she walked up to the professor smiling. "Good morning Professor Collins." she said softly.
