"You mean lunch?" Angus laughed. "Very soon. But I could use some help setting the table. I don't have time today to set it because this takes constant attention right at the moment. If someone could set the table, that would be very helpful. Cassidy or Jess? You're good helping me with meal preparations."
Khaat was about to respond when her triplets woke up in the playpen and started crawling about. They seemed to be working on getting fussy.
"Alright," Brian stepped in quickly, "What are your little issues down here?" He leaned in and picked up Julia. "Um...by the smell of it, someone desperately needs a diaper change. Maybe more than one of them."
"You are not having sextuplets, Khaat," Robert sighed, reaching in and picking up Michael. "This one isn't smelling very pretty either."
"You're both sissies," Khaat said, reaching in and picking up the last triplet. "And when you're done with those two, do check Abbey and Dakota. So long as we're up to our elbows in it, we might as well do the job right."
"Was that a request or an order?" her father asked.
"Take it any way you like," Khaat said, taking Robert Remus to be changed. "The job needs done."
