A Friend Ship in the Makeing

Sage walked down to the lake her long curly hair was up in a pony tail a few strands hanging around her face. she wore her old blue jeans and a faded tee shirt. she also wore her old boots. every thing around the lake reminded her about home back in texas. she sat below a big old tree and took some paper and a pen out of her backpack she had been carrying around with her. slowly she began to writeing about the past few days at Hogwarts. they had been rather boring but she still love writeing down how she felt. she was so unuse to the cold wether so she also wore an overly large coat.

What a cold day. 17 year old Saige Troy Mars was walking around outside on a cold day wearing a thin grey jacket and jeans with holes in them. It was kind of gloomy out in his vision and his colorless jeans and grey jacket and his pale skin made him look as boring as this day was. the only color he has was the small splash of red on his shoes and the dark brown of his eyes and hair. Other than that it was boring.

While walking outside Saige saw a girl over near the lake. She looked as though she was a hufflepuff like himself and he thought that he could make a new friend if she wanted to be friends. so saige decided to go over and talk to her.

Sage looked up for a minute trying to remember something that had happened the day before when she noticed a guy who seemed to be walking toward her. she smiled to her self then wrote something down that had happened earlier that day. this boy looked rather boring as she automatically assumed he was from slythern though he looked more like a hufflepuff in some ways which confused her so much. she then looked out over the lake sighing wishing she was back home and that it wasn't so cold here. she missed Texas so much during the winter months.

Saige walked up to the girl. He had seen her look at him then back at whatever she was doing. "Hey." He said as he sat down next to her. about 2 feet away from her though. "What are you doing out here on a cold day like it is today?" He asked her smiling slightly. To him it didnt matter if it was cold it wasnt as though he was going to freeze to death or something. He was actually really fine with it being cold out. It was alot better than when it was hot out.

"Hi," Sage said glanceing over at the boy. "I'm just righting to my brother about the past few days here." she folded the paper she had been writeing on and sliped it into her bag continueing on another piace. "Why are you out here when its so cold?" she asked her hand was shakeing a little and her fingers were numb. so she layed her pincel down and put her hands in her poket turning to look at the boy. "and then you have no coat on.. Are you trying to ceatch a cold?" she had a small smile on her face

"Well i have this jacket so.. yeah.. but its not that cold out to me.. its actually pretty warm out here." He said smiling. "Oh by the way.. My name is saige.. But you can call me troy or mars instead if you wanna." He had totoally forgotten to introduce himself. Why on earth would someone forget something that important? You'd expect someone to remember to introduce themselves yet he did remember but it was after he had started a conversation with this girl.

"Well its frezzing here compared to home." Sage said "and My name is Sage. Its nice to meet you Saige." she brushed a stray hair out of her face and played with the small ring on her right hand. it had been her brothers and reminded her of home. she pulled her coat closer around her then looked out across the lake. "how can you like it being this cold out?" she asked looking at him confused. "even after six years im not use to it."

"Well.. Its ust that way." he said smiling. He took off his jacket and put it over her sholders. His shirt was as colorless as the rest of his clothes. Usually in cold weather he would wear his more boring clothes. It made him blend in with everything around him with they grey sky and everything most things seemed to be colorless in his mind. "Is that any better?" He asked her after putting his jacket over her sholders. He knew it wouldnt be much help but he didnt have much use for the jacket at the moment.

"uh, yeah" Sage said " but don't you want it?" she was smileing a Saige as a slight wind blew some snow off the tree branches above them. sage giggled quietly as she watched it fall into Saiges hair. as she giggled and watched the snow she knew it also fell in her hair. she wondered if he was afected by the sound of her strong souther accsent. "did you grow up around this stuff they call sonw? she asked "i myself didn't see it forthe first time untill i was eleven years old."

"Yeah.. When i was younger i was cold whenever it was around this time of the year.. things have changed alot since then." Saige said looking at the lake as his brown hair started to feel a little heavier cause snow was falling on it. " Want to go inside? It would be better than being out here in the cold all day." He said as he got up and held out his hand to help her up. "And plus you could get sick out here in this weather." There was a smile on his face as he spoke.
