Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"The name sounds familiar..." she said thinking and then it hit her, "Lets not wake him up." she continued to say, "Because I think it was Daniel that wrote it. I remember that being his last name if I remember right." she said smiling. She saw him go over to another section and felt relieved that he didn't find another one of Godric's books.

"My father like me I guess, had a fascination with muggle fiction." she replied smiling. "Of course he and I had different tastes in it but he couldn't get enough science fiction. Oddly enough they never let me watch much t.v." she said smiling as she snuggled back up to him when he sat down, "But go on, You were doing good."

With a sudden pop, Godric apperated to the only person that he knew would help. His arm and chest were bleeding profusely. His mind in a deadly state. His black silk shirt was ripped to shreds, only a semblance of modesty at this point in time.

He looked into his cousins eyes for only a moment. A silent plead for help. As he fell to his knees, he noticed the others in the room. Despite his injuries, he brought up his wand. The black wood glistened malevolently with the blood of its master. Hissing was heard from inside the tatters as Set was warped around him to keep pressure on the wound.

"Delk!" Christabelle cried out at seeing her cousin so hurt. He was like her twin more, she looked at him. She hurried over to him being hesitant hearing the snake hiss, she tried the connection to see if it was back yet, Let me guess you got into a fight and you came back long enough for me to heal you right? she asked looking at him curiously. She glanced over at Emil and then back at Godric.

She had always been fond of calling him Delk, probably since she couldn't say Godric when they were children. She pulled out her wand, its almost white color in comparision to his black wand and said the spell to heal his wounds. "You owe me."

Emil looked at the man that was bleeding. "Is that...Godric? The man that you wanted to set up with a certain someone? He doesn't look too good. Anything I can do?" He genuinely wanted to help out.

Daniel awoke from his Firewhiskey induced comatose state, allowing himself to get to his feet. He saw a bleeding guy. Wait? A bleeding guy? Was this a joke? He didn't know at all. He just stayed back, then he uttered a repeat of Emil's phrase. He stumbled over to a book case and held onto it, in a vain effort to stay upright.

Set slitherd down and curled up at Godric's feet. The violet eyes of the serpent watching the two newcomers.

In a hushed tone Godric spoke, "Not so much a fight as it was a lyinching. Turns out I'm not welcomed in my house in Amsterdam any more. Four bloodsuckers and a DE were waiting for me. Now I have to get Kreaton to clean it up."

At the sound of his name a house elf popped in next to Godric, in a full set of silk cloths and a top hat.

Master, cleaning is done, but brought you this. The house elf held out a silver vile and Godric took it with out question.

Noticing for the first time his drained bottle of vintage Elvish Firewhisky he spoke to Christy, "Looks like you owed me I was saving that bottle for my acceptance speech for Headmaster of Derstrang." He smiled knowing he had plenty more.

"Well it shouldn't have been sitting in here in the library with having been gone for months on end without even the slightest telepathic word to me." she said looking at him as she moved to hug him. She wasn't sure how the snake would take it but if she got bit she knew Godric would give her the antidote. "I've missed you and you can't even let me know you are alive." she spouted out all in german.

She turned to Emil, "Yeah this would be my cousin Godric. I'm sure you remember him." she said moving so they could talk, "Plus I warned Daniel that it was strong and he drank it all adding spell to it to make it even stronger...But I seriously need your help." she said her mind going to the potion she wanted to make.

This was going to be a Vacation - Page 16 Empty Re: This was going to be a Vacation

Daniel's head was buzzing, the wrath of a thousand wasps stinging and diving for his head. The thudding of rocks in his stomach, and the waves of the acid washing upon the rocks. His body was a tumult of activity. He knew he was going to eventually throw up or something if he wasn't cured right away. He searched the book rack hurriedly, trying his best to find what he was looking for. An unstable cliff was to give way unless he could hold it up. He found the book he was looking for, but couldn't perform the hangover cure spell.

"Here, let me" Emil said, his voice soft and modest. He took his wand from his pocket, and aimed it for Daniel. He read the book, memorizing the spell, then he performed it. The bees and wasps killed by DDT spray, the canyon of rocks held up with an amazingly strong cloth, and the tide became low once more. It felt great. Daniel felt much better, and he looked around, seeing an unfamiliar face. A beautiful, unfamiliar face.

"H-hi, I-I'm Daniel" he stuttered.

Godric smiled impishly, his lips forming each word carefully. He wasn't used to talking to people anymore.

"I'm Godric. You must be the one who had the audacity to dare my special reserve of Firewhisky." He held out the silver vile to the other man with a smirk. "Next time be prepared. This potion will null out the negative effects but still allow you to get sloshed." With this he winked and smiled putting his veela charm into it. He had to consciously do this due to his quatra-veela blood.

Turning to his cousin he smiled brightly. "You can let go now. And what kind of potion are we talking here?"

"No." she said looking up at him. They really did look more like twins than they did cousins now that Daniel and Emil could see them up close. They even acted like it. "This one." she said moving to get the huge book off of the table. "Emil and I wanna see our past lives." Granted the last part and all of it she really didn't have to say since they had their twin like telepathy. I'm sure you remember Emil from Durmstrang don't you? She said through their link that had come back up just enough so they could speak without saying words.

"I did warn him not to put that spell on it." she said, "Nor did I think he'd go through the whole decanter so quickly. I didn't even get any of it." she said playfully pouting.

"Hey! You said I could have as much as I wanted!" Daniel said. He took the potion and observed it, it looked really nasty but it would be worth it to feel the effects of the drink without the hangover. "Thank you" Daniel smiled, feeling a little weak at the knees. His weakness for Veela was coming back. He knew this man was quarter-veela, just by the way he looked and...he just couldn't bare to for long periods of time. Daniel thought he beat this, this whole obsessive and detrimental weakness. It...killed him inside. He had to put on a stable facade in order to even say anything.

Emil smiled, "I remember this guy. He and used to be great buddies until he disappeared". A smile played across his lips, and he looked at Daniel whom he could tell was in some distress.
