This was going to be a Vacation

Godric laughed mischievously at his old friend. He would be in for it now. Godric had already started plotting a prank on his old buddy.

He looked at Daniel in all seriousness. "I could probably tailor it to suite her needs, I would just need a little time." He was busy putting the potion into nine little vials. Three for each of the participants.

As he finished up, he used a spell to clean his cauldron and put up his supplies. The only thing that didn't go back into the room was the vile of Asp venom that hung around Godric's neck. Unknowingly, he fiddled with the talisman thinking back to Gift's sacrifice.

He looked up and smiled at them all, "So what do we do now? I'll warn you though. That potion is going to hurt." He made no move to make them feel better about taking it. He made sure he wasn't able to take it. It needed blood of someone that wasn't using it to anchor them to the present. So when there past lives died, they wouldn't.

She couldn't help but laugh at Emil, "I'm sorry its just weird that I can handle it and you can't." she said looking at all of them. "I'm cool for using it right now. She walked over to Godric and hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you Delk." she said smiling sweetly at him. "I know you hate doing stuff like that for me." she said turning her attention to Emil, "If you want we can use it now or wait a little bit. I don't know how much longer you have to hang around." she said trying to be considerate.

"Well, it doesn't matter when we use the stuff, it's up to you, really" Emil said, "I know that you wouldn't make fun of me just for the sake of being mean. I know you too well, now!" This time, he'd let Christy decide. He wasn't too fond of the idea that it was going to hurt, but that didn't matter any more if he was going to go somewheres exciting.

"Oh, so that potion there would be like the Animus from the Assassin's Creed series, but in liquid form" Daniel said. He was making reference to one of Brienne's favorite video games, which she enjoyed. It was her constant babbling about it that got him hooked as well. He looked into Godric's eyes, "Will...will it...hurt her? Possibly kill her? I can't have my baby sister get killed, just because she's a werewolf. She...she saved my life, though she took one in the process". Daniel was attacked by a werewolf when he was in 6th year. Brienne, only a 4th year, savagely tore the other werewolf apart.

Godric looked at Daniel with mischief in his eyes. "Assassin's Creed, a train.... great game." He said almost slipping up. He still hadn't even told Christy his alter ego. There was only two Albino King Cobras known to exist the the owners knowing each other was far beyond what most would consider coincidence.

He knew he had almost screwed up his cover. But hoped his cousin would have the decency to at least use the link if she was going to question him further.

"But yes, it's pretty much the exact same thing. But my blood will make sure that you three won't die along with you're past lives. It's an anchor to the present."

Realizing Daniel was asking about the cure again he smiled. "The only one the cure has ever come close to killing is me. And that was due to my ex Tourk. He planned on changing people at school, and then selling them my hard work. I had made it for him because he told me he wanted to be human again. Then his pack attacked me."

Godric looked over to Emil wondering if the other boy even remembered Tourk. He and Godric ran in a different circle then Tourk and his gang.

Christy did pick up on that and use the link. A what? she asked looking her cousin dead in the eye. They hadn't picked up on a lot of things about the other that would eventually come out soon enough now that they were back together and the link there. Christy knew she could never hide anything from Godric for a long period of time. You've got some explaining to do.

"I'm ready to go use the potion as long as you are." she said excitedly. She wanted to relive her past life and it would be interesting to see his as well.

Emil nodded, "I think I'm ready right now. I want to see into my past, hopefully I'd be with you". He held Christy's hand, and bent down to kiss her on the cheek. He sighed softly in happiness and ruffled her hair. "If it hurts, I'll help you endure the pain. I promise". He smiled and held her close.

Daniel looked at Godric again, "Oh. Well, why don't you try and make it then, I'd be glad if you did. It's too bad that your genius potion-making nearly got you killed though. I already like you too much to see you get hurt". Daniel's puppy dog eyes got wide and sad-looking.

"Oh yeah! Tourk. I hated that guy. He made me feel stupid and ugh...I hate him," Emil said. He knew Tourk very well. "Wasn't he the guy who regularly beat me up for no reason?"

Godric laughed at all of them, not out of meanness but out of surprise.

To Daniel he said, "It's not uncommon for me to get myself into binds like that trust me. Don't worry for me, I can keep my self alive long enough to make sure every one I care for is safe." With that he placed his hand gently on the other boy's face, and carresed his cheek with the pad of his thumb. He didn't want to use the curse to his advantage, but he couldn't help himself. A gouergus guy in distress SO out beat a damsil.

To Emil he sighed with regreat. "That would be the same one. Don't worry though a friend of mine killed that mangy mutt." Then to Daniel once again he said softly, "Sorry, no disrespect, some have earned the title hone... well should I say more so, dishonestly. And Tourk top amoung them."

Then to his beloved cousin, he spoke words allowed that had no real meaning, but through it all he spoke mind to mind with her.

If you remember the man you hired to kill Varod, Sayvar, well, there is a reason he and I both have an Albino Egyptian King Cobra. As a matter of fact they both are named Set. As he said this he looked down to the snake coiled around his wrist. By the way, the money you spent on hiring me, was placed right back into you're account.

As he thought this he opened the door to the Apothecary.

Christy looked over at her cousin, I thought he looked familiar, she replied deciding it was better if this converstation wasn't outloud for the moment being...Not with so many people present. She wouldn't even talk about it with Abbey around. We'll talk more about his later right? she asked him curiously, Besides after what thought you probably caught when I was with Sophia we proabably have a lot to talk about now. she said the thought about her miscarriage crossing her mind again.

She turned to Emil. "Well then follow me." she said smiling as he kissed her cheek. She took his hand and walked out of the apothecary and then spoke, "I can handle pain." she said looking at him with a smirk, "I've been under the cruciatus curse more times than I care to remember. Once almost killed me if I remember right, and almost drove me to insanity at the same time."

She continued walking. It wasn't that far down the hall to hers or Godric's room for that matter. She passed by her sister's room and seeing Abbey wasn't in there she walked into her room right across the hall. It hadn't changed at all. It was huge. Easily twice the size or more of Emil's hotel suite, her closet alone fitting that in there. In front of them sat a king sized bed with royal blue silk sheets and comforter, and in front of that a television. Her desk sat against a wall by the window, and there was a window seat big enough for at least two people.

She walked over and sat down on the bed, holding her potion, "Are you ready Emil?" she asked him curiously.

Emil had a vial of the potion. The sky-blue concoction looked innocuous, but it was promised to hurt a lot. "I'm ready when you're ready, love". He uncorked the vial, and sat down on the bed. It looked comfy enough, but would it shield him from the pain? He'd find out. He swallowed the foul-tasting mess. It was like daggers doused in sewage going down his throat.

Soon, he curled into the fetal position. Those daggers were chipping away at his internal organs, it was the dog attack all over again. The same organ-ripping feeling, the near-death sensation, everything. It brought back a flood of painful memories that only made the pain much worse. He could swear that he saw himself bleeding from everywhere he'd ever been torn apart, or otherwise injured.

"No disrespect taken, I understand what you mean", Daniel said. He smiled, and leaned in to kiss the other man, he was so inclined to do so because of the Veela curse that had been placed upon his very soul ever so long ago.

Godric leaned away from the kiss, but with a sad expression on his face.

"Daniel, are you kissing me because you want to, or because of the curse?" He asked. He didn't want to reject the other boy, but he couldn't let this curse be used for his own benefit. It wasn't a fair match. Godric wanted Daniel to care for him, because he was Godric, not because he was part Veela. Too many others had fallen to his charms. He wanted an honest relationship. Not a mockery.

"Think before you answer me. I have been mentally preparing a potion that might be able to stifle the effects of the curse, but the only solution I can come up with to end it, is to end it's caster."

With that Godric handed the bottles of the sky blue potion to Daniel, hoping the boy wasn't too upset with his answer.
