Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Christy almost couldn't believe he had asked it. He didn't seem like the type of person to ask something like that and she hadn't wanted to make him uncomfortable by asking it herself. She looked at him as he took her hand in his and she immediately without thinking laced her fingers between his. She had the urge to just kiss him but decided not to just yet. "Um that sounds good." she replied letting out another yawn. "Your place is fine." She didn't want to give him directions to where she was given how tired he seemed.

She looked outside, "I think we should get heading before he starts falling asleep too." she said standing up.

Emil nodded, "I'm at a hotel right now for a few days, I don't actually live near here". He wasn't impressed by that fact, and knew that no one else would be, but he mentioned it anyway. He grabbed his keys and stood up. He reminded the waiter about the deal that he didn't have to pay because of the fly, and he exited the establishment with his head hung down in tiredness. He unlocked the doors of his car, fumbling with his keys and nearly scratching the paint job trying to align them with the lock. He opened a door for Christy and Daniel before getting in himself and buckling the seatbelt.

Daniel got into the back of the car, yawning softly. He allowed himself to sink down into the soft faux-leather interior and fall asleep. He looked quite peaceful lying there. Emil smiled when he looked back upon the older man.

"Well I just apparated down here." she said smiling as they walked out of the restaraunt. "I was going to go home but I think I might stay a little bit longer and I couldn't possibly apparate right now anyway." She didn't want to let go of his hand but did so he could open the door up easier. She got into the car and buckled up and turned towards Emil in her seat curling up a bit. She was starting to get tired seeing Daniel falling asleep.

"I can't wait to see a bed." she said yawning.

Emil looked around before making sure all the doors and stuff were all shut. He turned on the radio, fiddling around for a channel before he settled on a rock and roll station. Daniel was jolted awake by the music, and he looked cranky.

"Emil! That music's too loud".

"I need loud music to keep me awake. You don't want me to crash, do you?"

"No, I guess not".

"Good. Then let me listen to the music to keep myself awake".

Emil looked over at Christy, "I can't wait to see a bed either, I'm tired". In his pocket, he had a strange flask. It was of a wit-sharpening potion that someone had brewed for him for long drives. He took a swig, feeling slightly more refreshed. He started the car and backed up out of the parking space. Then, he drove away from the restaurant towards the hotel he was staying in.

"It's not fancy, but it'll do".

Christy nodded her head a little at hearing the music. She wasn't bothered by the loudness of it and turned and looked at Daniel. "If you were tired enough it wouldn't bother you." she said crankily not meaning to sound so mean. "You sure you don't want me to drive?" she asked looking at him before he pulled off towards the hotel.

"What is that?" she asked looking at the flask curiously. She really hoped it wasn't something like her cousin did. But it seemed to just wake him up so she relaxed a little bit. "I'm sure that its fine." she said smiling putting her hand on his leg while he drived.

Daniel sighed and tried to go back to sleep. Even if he was tired, he still couldn't sleep with music on.

Emil looked at Christy, "I'm fine to drive, the wit-sharpening potion is doing its job as well as the music. It's all good, and I feel great. Besides, it's not that far away". Softly, he yawned as he focused on the road before him. It wasn't too far away. He drove down the road until he reached the next exit ramp, pulling off of it. Ahead, he saw the town where he was staying for the summer. "It's just a few minutes away". He drove into the small little town, and past a row of houses. It really did look like a nice, innocent place with nice friendly people. Several youths near the sidewalk helped a little old lady cross the street with her groceries, typical stuff.

Soon enough, they reached a nice hotel which looked more like an apartment complex than anything else. It was large and had a communal pool, and several beverage dispensers near the front. Emil locked his car door after stepping out and went inside the hotel. He got the key to his room back after paying a small fee.

Christy got out of the car locking her door once they arrived stretching for a minute, yawning. She looked around but was really too tired to remember anything. It had been a great night so far but it hadn't ended perfect yet. She had been debating the entire car ride whether or not she should kiss him and wasn't sure yet if she would or wouldn't act on it.

She looked at Daniel waiting for Emil to get back, "Sorry for snapping like that earilier. I just get really moody sometimes when I'm tired." she said really and truly feeling bad for snapping off at him like that. It wasn't like her, unless it was like her and Varod. She had bad times with that. They fought more than anything no matter if she even cared for him, that just wasn't healthy.

"I wonder how much longer he'll take to come back for us." she said trying to make conversation.

Emil headed back to the car, holding the keys to the hotel in his hands. "Mein Gott, the people in this hotel are sharks! They drain you of every ounce of money you have!" He was clearly a bit angry since the guy charged him a couple dollars to get the keys back.

Daniel looked at Christy, "That's okay, I totally understand. I got like that around my brother Frank when he started fussing over something I tried ignoring. He got on my nerves, and I hit him, worse than yelling at him or snipping off".

Emil smiled, "The room's ready to go! Follow me!". Daniel followed close behind Emil, who was sauntering back to the hotel to go to the room.

"Hey..Hey..He's my god too." Christy said trying to crack a joke between them laughing a little. She could tell by the look on Emil's face that he didn't seem to happy but she followed them none the less keeping up with them easily. She stepped up next to Emil and intertwined her arm with his. "You ok?" she asked looking at him curiously, genuinely worried about him being upset.

Emil giggled a little at the "My god" joke, then he put on a serious tone. "These idiots at the hotel make you pay extra every time you're out for long periods of time. They're crooked I tell you, crooked people". He blushed as he felt an arm intertwine with his, and he held her hand with his. He suddenly picked Christy up, resting her head on his shoulder. He had Daniel open the door of the hotel and let them in. Emil stepped in and went up the elegant steps that lead to the second floor. He had Daniel open the door to the hotel room, it was a huge suite which had silky curtains and nice decorations. The room had a distinctive red and blue theme.
