What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Today was the day that Ashley was hoping to finally make some friends. But of course there was that irk of irony in her stomach. She had been at Hogwarts now for almost 4 years. She has yet to make any friends. So today she is down at Hogsmeade, trying to hang around the popular areas, where all the kids where. She wore her cutest muggle outfit and brought her purse with her money and wand in it. She sat down at a table in front of a coffee shop that looked packed. She crossed her fingers and hoped that today was the day.

Aurora was just walking around in places most people werent around so that she could avoid boys when she noticed a stranger at a table. Boredly, Aurora walked over to the table and looked at the girl odly. "Mind if i join you?" She asked nervously. Aurora was wearing blue jeans and a yellow shirt that said "Its easy being green". She looked average like most muggles she knew. Of course she was dressed as a muggle since she loved muggles.

Ashley heard a voice coming from beside her so she looked up. She saw a young girl, younger than her standing beside her. "Oh um...sure. I don't mind." Ashley said wondering if it was just her luck that she might be making friends with a girl younger than her. Not that she would complain, she would do almost anything to make friends now. But this was a good start. She waited for the girl to sit, then she would ask her some questions.

Aurora Sat down at a seat and looked down. She wasnt used to making friends or talking much still. She was still far in training to not be so shy. Her mind raced of wanting to be less shy. She wanted to be able to talk to people without being shy all the time. She wanted to do something besides sit around not talking all day long. She longed to be able to have a normal conversation with normal people.

Ashley smiled when the girl sat down. "My name is Ashley. Why did you want to sit down with me?" Ashley asked her while extending her hand for a shake. Ashley probably knowing the answer already. She was going to say that Ashley looked all lonely and desprite, then Ashley was going to be sad. But either way a conversation was a conversation.

"im aurora..Aurora Nye" She stared at the hand boredly "I dont know. I needed something to do i guess."Im a liar Aurora thought i know exactly why i came to sit here.. So why did i lie? Aurora wondered to herself. She had had visions of coming here so every say she had come to this exact table seeing if this girl was there. She was needing to talk to someone.. she guessed.

Ashley put her hand down sadly when the girl didn't shake it, but smiled when the girl said she needed something to do and that was why she came over. It was nice to not have someone talk to her because of her petheticness. "Well I'm glad to help you with your boredness. What would you like to do? Talk, Play a card game, Play some wizards chess?" Ashley asked her happily and maybe a hint of desperation.

Aurora looked down tiredly. Why here and now did she have to be this shy? "I really dont care.. Never played wizards chess so.. I wouldnt know what to choose." She made a awkward face. Her facial impressions never were the same when it came to meeting new people. What was so different every time she met someone new? She never learned that.

Ashley smiled when Aurora said she had never played Wizards chess before because she wasn't to good at it either. She had only said it just in case the girl liked it. So Ashley smiled on and thought of what they could do. Sammy then got an idea. She smiled down at the girl nicely. "How about we go shopping? I heard that girls our age like doing that." Ashley said to the girl wondering if she was the shoping type. If not that was ok she could always come up with something else.

Aurora looked at her odly. "Only if there wont be much people there... I dont want one of my shyness attacks right now.." Her mind raced of anger how she made a fool of her self everytim she had a shyness attack. It was a nightmare for her to have one. You never knew what she would end up doing during one.
