"Come on. GIve,' Robert laughed, now curious. Khaat knew he was afraid it was a radical idea.
"Well, I do really want to go over to mainland Europe for a bit--Abbey and me. I really want to go to Tuscany, maybe the Riviera for a vacation. And maybe stop at a few different places on the way back. "
"That sounds perfectly wonderful. And it sounds like a very good idea. But--it won't be any fun alone. You should take some friends--or family. The guys could watch Abbey while you and whichever-ladies go shopping. You know some of the finest shopping in Europe is in Paris and in Rome. It might be good for you to get away for a bit. I would support that even before you're 100%. There could be worse in the world than dining on French and Italian cuisine and wines. I think you ought to think about it very seriously."
"Well, I actually have been. That was another one of Rob's unfulfilled promises. I wanted to go, he kept promising me that and a trip to someplace tropical, and as you see, we never got there. Anybody interested in either a trip to mainland Europe or the tropics with me and Abbey?"
"Your mother and I. We're in," Robert grinned. "Steven? Jack? Jess? I know Brian will be in."
"How'd you guess?" Brian smiled, not losing one bit of his peaceful relaxed attitude with Jess. "You're doing very well, Jess. You want to go just a couple inches more?"
