Escape to Brian Quinn's

jess looked at Brian and turned to face him "ok" she sai with a deep breath letting herself float again now she was happy to do that she tried to lift her arm her face went under and she stood back up again wiping the water from her face . Now she wasn't going to be defeted and once more she floated this time she did it slower and manged to pull herself forward "hey, was that right?" she sked moving her other arm in the same way. but as a splash hit she stood up " ok , im just resting " she said as she wiped the water from ehr face.

"That was exactly right. You just need to practice to build up your strength and your confidence. Good job. That was perfect. You're a natural at this. You're going to do just fine at swimming. You're welcome to rest, and then try it again whenever you like," Bria said.

In the meantime, Khaat closed her eyes, mentally making a list of the places she wanted to travel to. Once she had her magic back, she could take Abbey anywhere. And right now, it sounded like fun. She was starting to make a mental list of what she wanted to see and do.

jess looked back at Khaat and smied she knew exaclty what she was thinking and it was good , moving to teh pool side she looekd at "Brian " thank you Brian , can we di this again tomorow , if your busy with protecting the travel bug over there2 she said now sitting on teh side of the pool. she saw jack walk out and across to her "I put andrew down to sleep and the twins didn't realse how late it was he was asleep before he hit teh bed" he said sitting next to ehr at the pool side. Jess lent on him as he sat next to her "take me for a swim?" she sked Jack grined and slipped into teh water in front of her , now she slipped into the water to face him.

Taking her around ehr waist he held her close to him as he lay on his back "comfotable?" he asked but seeing ehr smile he continued her laid on his front as he sawm around the pool her smiling at him just as she ahd done with brian passing Brian she smiled now confident enouph she could enjoy the water as they did.

"We can try it again tomorrow," Brian said, "when Khaat gets back from seeing Rob and Jen. I'm sure we'll have plenty of time left. Khaat, you want to try to redeem yourself, or have you had enough?"

"I'm fine. Let's go," Khaat replied. Robert helped her up and made sure she got to the pool alright. Brian helped her slide into the pool with him. He stayed right beside her for a couple more laps around the pool, and then he stopped her.

"Okay. That's enough for today, Babe. It's late, and you have a lot to do tomorrow. Let's not push it," Brian said.

"I quite agree," Robert said, walking over to the steps. "I'll take her to her room. You all enjoy this for awhile longer. "

Khaat said good night to everyone, and Robert said he would be back outside in a moment.

Robert took Khaat to her room and helped her dry off and change for bed. He suggested simply combing out her wet hair and letting the rest go til morning. He helped her into bed, kissed her goodngiht and dimmed the lights, leaving them barely on so the guards could check on her during the night, and he left her to sleep.

jess smiled to Jack and could not help kiss him in the water as she grinned holding him closer than she had Brian "as much as I like this i think im getting a bit cold" she said and shiveed slightly "ok" jack said moving to teh side of teh pool where the steps were , he walked her out of eh water and wrapped her in a towel holding ehr as he dried her "you know I was not jelouse fo one minet while Brian had hold of you" he lied and she knew it loking at him as if to say "yeah right" he chuckeld " ok so I saw but can you blame me another mans hands on my wife" he said smiling as he glanced over at Brian "no offence" he said to him .

Jess smaked him "thats for being jelouse , I am your wife and don't forget it" dher said on her top toes she kissed him loving how his hands resting on her hips felt warm.

Robert rejoined them out at the pool. "Are you all set for tomorrow?" he asked Brian, Steven, and Jack. "It's Khaat's first outing since the delivery of the baby, and I don't know how she'll do. I expect her to try to give 100%. That could be good or bad, depending on how things to at Azkaban. I'll double check on Sophia and Emmy to make sure they are both okay with Khaat and Brian and me being gone tomorrow. Do any of you have any questions? I expect you both to get a good nights' sleep. Brian and I will watch things tonight. I need you two at your best," he said, looking at Steven and Jack.

jess loked at Robert nd smiled "ow he will be" he said and dragged him inside . As he passed Rbert he mouthed playruly "help" but once inside scooped up jessica and headed up the staris to an empty guest room.

Steven chuckled "even after three kids they stil act like newly weds" he said standing and walking over , he glanced around the grounds then at the pool" we should cover that unless Brian your wanting to do a few laps?" he asked and turned to face Robert "don't worry I will be alert for any trouble , but those two will probably get into a lot of trouble if they don't cool off" he said chuckaling to himself as he walked inside.

Pasing the spare room that jack and jesica had he could hear gigaling from inside and shook his head not realy wanting to know what was going on , he peeked in on Andrew and found him sleeping with a stuffed piret he persumbed Jack had cungured for him. Passing kHAAT ROOM H CAREFULLY OPENED TH DOOR SEING ABBY SOUND ASLEEP AND kHAAT HE SMILED NODDING WITH EVERYTHING BEING FINE.

soon he sat on his bed and slipped out of his things and under the sheets lokign forward to a long nights resful sleep .

Khaat and Robert and Brian got up bright and early. Khaat had dressed to go see Rob, and Emmy had altered her clothes for her and done her hair and used a bit of a glamour spell on her so that Khaat didn't feel like she looked so much like the spectre of death.

The three of them put in their long cloaks and went to Azkaban.

But the visit did not go well. She ended up getting back later that afternoon, with her hand in a muggle cast. Brian and Steven had found her and brought her home, full of all kinds of muggle potions from breaking her hand and abandoning her father to go into muggle London. She had gotten treatment for her broken bones there. Brian and Steven had found her there and had secured her release and brought her home.

She was full of drugs, and she slept soundly because of them--clear though til the next morning. The last thing she remembered was her trip to Azkaban being a total waste of time.

The following morning, she woke with her father's things all around her. It took awhile for her to patch up her argument she'd had with him and for her to resolve how angry she was with him. But she was realiziing that her fathe's intentions hab been, actually, honorable, despite her disagreement with it. He had stayed until after breakfast, and then he had gone home to his potions lab to formulate a potion for her and for Sophia.

She managed to get up, refresh herself and put on a clean gown and robe and to make it to go downstairs. She had stopped in and found Abbey sleeping peacefully in her crib, and she left her sleep and had proceeded down to the living room. Brian was just arriving there as well, having taken the time to shower and change at the same time. "More coffee, Khaat?"

"Please?" she asked.

"Certainly. How's your hand? Has the pain returned?" he asked

"Unfortunately," she said. She watched him accio more coffee in both their cups and he went over and laid his hand gently on her cast and drew off the pain from her hand and her fingers. "Thank you," she said, relieved.

OOC: Since we did this day already, I moved ahead in time until the day AFTER she's been at Azkaban, to approximately where the Finished thread ended.

Jessica smiled as she moved down the stairs to teh kitchen poring a glass of water in her dressing gown . see ing Brian and Khaat she just chuckled and grinned grabbing two glasses. "just came for water" she said "so, feeing better Khaat?" she asked as she turned on teh tap nd pored two cool glasses.

Jack came down teh stairs "hey wheres the water " he smiled as he saw Brian and Khat but walked over to jess wrapping his arms around her "andrews still a sleep and the twins are too" he whispered to her and he felt her relax "its a wonder with all the noise we were making" she whispered back to him.

"Could I have some coffee, Jess?" Khaat asked. She was quieter today. Yesterday had been a disaster in so many ways. ANd she didn't like being in a cast and a sling this morning. Much as she hadnt originally wanted to accept help from her father, it had been heartbreaking for her to not be able to pick up Abbey this morning because she'd become, basically, one handed. She so deeply loved this child, and to not be able to pick her up to hold her, she had become upset. Her father had been kind enough to come in, pick Abbey up and put her in Khaat's arms, but it still made her feel less than an ideal mother.

And she did remember her promise to send Rob and Jen food daily. She had sent Archangel with a message to Lizzie, asking her to apparate a meal to each of them daily, sent directly to the warden for delivery. And she had asked Lizzie to start an account for her so that she could pay those bills directly. Her father had promised to pay them out of Rob's monies. After all, it was for Rob and his sister, Rob's money could pay for it.

But she was also a bit upset by all the new medical issues Robert had found overnight. It meant she had a longer way to go to recover than she thought. Robert had not said that, and in fact, was home in his lab already, working on a massively complicated potion to try to turn things around for both her and Sophia.

But part of her wished that yesterday had never ever happened.
