"Well," Robert said, "A person's energy is based on the normal life force energies for his or her species, and then also adds the magical energies component to it. So, for most of us, our total amount of energies come in two halves. For example, the normal energies for a human body, along with the normal magical energies for a wizard. It combines to make the whole amount of energy that particular wizard has.
"In Sophia's case, this appears to be an accumulation of things. Part of it is that it appears that her system is trying to compensate for the loss of magical energy by trying to pull on her vampire body's natural energies, making her need an increase in blood than what she normally uses. When she gets her magic back, that should go back to normal. The other thing is that she may have been perhaps pushing to get through her last little bit of schooling and taking shortcuts when it comes to her regular intake of food. It would not be the first tiem that happened. She needs more concentrated nutrients in her food than she has been getting. We can either use vitamins, or we can alter her diet to make sure that she is getting foods that are a lot healthier. And she will have to conserve her energies. I would think that when her magic returns, she will feel back to herself as quickly as she felt it leave."
He woke Sophia and said. "Hello, Sophia. I'm Robert--Khaat's father. I'm a healer. Here. Drink a couple of these. You'll feel better." He handed her a couple vials of blood. "Then I want you to get a good meal. It looks like its been awhile since you've chosen the right foods. If you take good care of yourself tonight and eat and rest, you should feel better tomorrow. I gave your mother all the orders I think she needs to take care of you tonight. Oh, and drink a couple more of those vials before bedtime. Does that make sense?"
He looked at Emmy, "Any questions?"
