Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

MATCH - Page 3 Empty Re: MATCH

Post by Vincent Majere Wed Apr 07, 2010 9:17 pm

50 word minimum word count guys? 3 lines. Its not hard and its already being breached. Should I hand penalties before the match has even begun? Also, dont start yet.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vincent waited until all the members of each team had come outside. He walked between the two lines they had created, stopping near Elijah and giving him a sharp look. "I'm sure your aware of our rules Krum, as your supposed to enforce them yourself," he muttered in a low voice. The Imperium squad were his handpicked students, but they dissapointed sometimes, like now. "Put the cigarette away Krum, or its a week worth of detention," he said before walking away. Imperium Squad were sometimes above the rules, but Vincent could hardly show favoritism towards them in front of the whole school. Taking out his whistle, he blew it, signalling the start of the match. IN his opinion, Slytherin would probably win, unless they were stupid enough to underestimate the Puffers.

[[Note: Apart from you whistle the start of the match you should release Qwaffle too.]]
Mariana heard as the Coach finally whisteled for the begging of the match so she separated from her team to go look for the little golden snitch even though she was watching the pitch for eventual advise or accident that were always main risk of these matches. She scanned the pitch for the snitch opening her 4 eyes.

Willow breathed sharp and heavily, the intense in waiting for them to start playing growing. As Majere blew the whistle, Willow smiled. It was time. she was psyched as she flew up towards the goal posts. She stopped in front of them and smiled maliciously at the chasers at the other end of the field. "Bring it on," she mouthed. Her pointer finger curved and straightened at them a few times as if to reitterate what she said.

Butterfly hovered near the back of the Hufflepuff Group, where the Beaters were. She gripped the bat tightly, going over all the tricks and tips in her head. Being a substitute meant you had to be decent at everything. Butterfly was better as a keeper of beater, but that was just her opinion. She narrowed her eyes, and took a deep breath. Snake could kill badger, but the badger wasn't going down without a fight.

Elijah turned to the Headmaster innocently and took the cigarette from his mouth. He tapped the end of it on the bottom of his shoe and put it behind his ear. He bowed, almost mockingly, and smirked. “Have no fear, Headmaster. I enforce the rules but I don’t remember anything in the rulebook about smoking. Anyway, I’ve got badgers to bury.” He rose from his bow and stepped backwards onto his broom. The Bulgarian made broom shot off into the sky and Eli lost his cigarette in the process. He cursed loudly as the broom came to a stop and he tried to remember the pros and cons of being a beater. Well, he knew it wasn’t best to stand up if anything. Eli dropped down onto the broom and sat there, waiting for the Bludgers. He found being a Chaser was much more interesting but he planned on sending a few of the Bludgers to the Hufflepuffs. He’d start with Marianna. If he got her or distracted her long enough then their Seeker could get the Snitch quicker. He was in a café sketching this time last year. Now where was he? On a bloody broom that would probably be the death of him playing for his house team in a position that probably wouldn’t help the broom situation much. Bugger. Eli thought.

Ami laid her bat across her lap, she was getting impatient waiting for the match to start. Looking around she made sure her team was where they were supposed to be, she bit her bottom lip as she noticed Albus wasn't in sight. She flew to the closes person which was Elijah, "Hey Elijah, have you seen Albus come out of the locker room?"

Albus hurried out of the locker room just as the whistle blew, cursing under his breath. Surely the Headmaster should have waited until all the players were outside? Still, it wasn't like he was at any disadvantage, and mounting his broomstick, a firebolt, given to him by his father, he flew upwards, looking around for the snitch.

Woodferd jumped onto his broom as the whistle blew and got a start on heading off into the air. "Ok, here I go.." he whispered to himself. He looked at Elijah, the nicest person he'd met since he got on the Quidditch team. He flew high in the air and took a start at looking out at the people, especially the ones on the opposite team. His dad (Before he died) would always say "Keep your friends close, but your enemies CLOSER."

Miseria just had to grin when she heard what Majere said to Elijah. Then she turned her eyes at the slytherin, and her grin got wider. Wow, smoking when the personals were around. How cruel. And with this innocent face, he got away.
When she heard the whistle, Miseria, like all the other teammates, jumped on the broom and second after it, she flew up high in the air, looking for another chasers. Now that the weather was good and she saw everything better than the last time, she flew a bit away, waiting for someone to catch the quaffle from the Hufflepuff and

Mariana looked as the Slytherin seeker had finally arrived hoping she wouldn't screw up like the last time since that would not be good. She flew around Slytherin goal rings narrowing her eyes to scan for the glow of the golden snitch which was no where in her sight. It was windy, but that wouldn't stop her since wind was problem more for beaters then for herself. Her head was turned towards her team every few moments though she needed to keep her concetration.
