MATCH

Ami came running out on to the pitch, she had to wait for the new keeper to get there. She sighed noticing they were already ready. Ami extended her hand hesitantly, she didn't know how today's match would go.

Abbey skipped out onto the field, ready to defeat the Slytherins. She looked over at the other team. She hoped that they weren't as well prepared as she and her fellow team members. Abbey waited for the match to start. She walked over to where Willow was standing. "Do you know which ones are the beaters?" she asked.

OOC:Am I taking Ben's place?

Butterfly squinted in the sunlight, and looked around. The stands were green and yellow, and filled with screaming people. She was a little bit nervous, but she knew she needed to pull it together. She went over to Abbey and Willow, just to be near someone, and took a deep breath. "Are you as nervous as I am?" She asked Abbey and Willow.

Miseria couldn't stop herself so the grin escaped trough her lips, making her look even more crueler than she already was. Her blue hair was in ponytail, again, and when some of the hufflepuffers were there, she went closer to them, but looked up at the crowd. There were a lot of those, who really liked their house, and the weather was better than she'd wanted. Good.

Willow saw Abbey walk over to her. "Um, no, actually, I don't," she answered her question, "Why don't you go over there and ask?" She suggested playfully , smirking a little. "Hey Ly," Willow greeted Butterfly. "Nah, I'm actually quite pumped and excited. I'm SURE we're gonna win!" Willow said energetically.

Julia shook her head, refusing the cigarette and shrugged, "I know, but it's not like the school is counting on us, it seems like they're expecting us to fail... That's whats really bothering me." She said blankly. Julia didn't want to let the team down by losing or playing horribly, she wanted to play perfectly... which was near impossible, especially for a klutz like Julia. She rested her head on his shoulder with her arm around him, as the butterflies began to die down at the smell of the cigarette smoke. "What kind of backup plans?" She asked innocently.

Eli shrugged and put the packet away. He knew that perhaps it wasn’t best for her to start that habit. He used them to relax or at least did it as a nervous habit. Other times he’d turn to Firewhisky or expensive wine but either way he’d relax with a glass of wine in hand or a cigarette between his lips. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and blew rings of smoke into the air. He hoped the Hufflepuffs would choke on the smoke. Their naivety would be the end of them. If he could hit a few of the Hufflepuff players with the bludgers than the team could focus on scoring.

Prhaps them he’d be ‘good enough’ if that’s what he needed to be. Either way he’d probably be smoking for most of the match. No one could stop him, if he was drinking of course then that would be a problem but smoking wasn’t going to do anything except blacken his lungs. “My backup plans...” Eli echoed, putting the cigarette back between his lips. “I’ll set fire to them.” He smirked and clicked his lighter on and off a few times. “I’d probably just start getting violent with the Bludgers to be honest, darlin’. Nachash wants puffer blood it seems anyway and I’d be happy to oblige.” If Slytherin lost he'd just ask Majere to put the Hufflepuff Quidditch team in Detention. Simple.

Mariana shaked Ami's hand hoping there was no hard feelings if one of them lost. She had her captain whistle hanged around her neck so she could blow it in case of need or a time out. "Elijah and Ami are beaters Abbey." she said to Abbey mounting her broomstick and catching up on her team. "Though better try beating chasers or seeker. After all they are the ones that score points." she advised though it was up to Abbey and Butterfly to choose. She whistled so the Coach could hear her. "BENJAMIN MACMILLAN IS BEING SUBSTITUTED BY BUTTERFLY MACMILLAN FOR MEDICAL REASONS!" she announced to both Headmaster, the crowd and the commentator.

Ami mounted her broom
after shaking Mari's hand. She looked at her team and sighed, she hoped
that they would do well since they hadn't practiced with the new people.

"Of course!" Abbey said to Mari, smiling. She mounted her broom and rose into the air with her teammates and looked around the pitch. She spotted the chasers and keepers at the other end of the field.
