"Oh, I'll make it medium rare, then!" Gar said happily, then noticed a slight fuzzing in the corner of his eyesight. He tried to focus on it but it disappeared. Strange... he thought to himself while a small headache hit him behind the eyes.

Khaat followed Jess out to the kitchen and smelled the wonderful aroma of Mis's fried potatoes. "Mis, I love that smell," Khaat said. "You make the best potatoes. They're always seasoned just right" Khaat conjured for herself a can of orange soda pop, and summoned a glass of ice. She opened the can and poured it over the ice. "I normally drink colas. I have no idea why I want orange soda pop. Maybe our baby is going to be addicted to junk food. Can I help you with anything, Mis?"

Miseria smiled when Jess and Khaat came to the kitchen. She had just finished with her two salats and those potatoes were ready as well. She put all of them on a big plate, and looked both of them. "No, thanks. Guess I am ready for now. OR we need anything else?" she asked them.

The fluttering started again. This time Gar didn't shoot toward it and stayed still. He was looking at the grill, concentrating and then... BOOM. The grill was coming at him and he saw nothing but brown.
"AH!" he shouted, falling backwards, closing his eyes. When he opened them he was on the ground and everything was normal.
Thirty seconds later, he was crippled by another headache and lay clutching his head.

jack watched turning at the sound of something falling "wow gar" he said quickly dropping the tongs and knife he held and diving to the boy, kneeling next to him he looked worried down at him. "KHAAT!!!" he shouted "GET YOUR DAD SOMTHINGS WRONG WITH Gar!!" as he saw trhe boy in pain again he picked him up " ok don't get any funny ideas" he said carrying him back inside the house.

Khaat heard Gar's scream from outside. She got up and flew to him, seeing Jack bringing in Gar, while Gar was holding his head. "Relax, Gar," she said, "I've got it." She laid her hands on his head and said firmly, "Stop! Enough!" She sent a powerful jolt of healing energy into his head to stop the pain and to restore his energies so it didn't drain him so badly as the last one had. "It's just a second sight headache, Gar. You'll be fine. Go lay him on the sofa for a moment, Jack."

Jack nodded but the frown still sat on his brow as he moved to the couch Gar in his arms , he set him down "you, stay there" he said sounding more like an order , his voice seriouse as he folded his arms across his chest , he looked at Khaat and jess then back to him. He ahd not felt this way except with his own son who now watched from the cot his blue eyes watching all that went on.

"Urgh..." Gar murmured, looking blearily up at Khaat. "Thanks again..."
He passed out then, and woke up sometime later.
Staring out the window, he waited for the fluttering. He waited till the outside came towards him and looked out. A tree was in front of his vision. He was careful not to bring it too close this time. Slowly, he moved the vision around, like a movie slider.

OOC: His pupils dilate to almost nothing.

"Be careful how you use it this time, Gar," Khaat said gently, sitting in a chair not far from him. "Don't get emotional about it. Just follow along, like a muggle movie. Stay distanced. And don't stay there too long. Get just what you need for right now and leave. You're not used to it yet."

Garulia slowly brought his vision back to normal and turned to her.
"This rocks," he said quietly. It felt like a muscle, that he had just now learned about. It was weak, but that was what excersise was for.
