Khaat was pleased that her friends didn't mind helping with the cooking. She looked at Jess. "I am so blessed to have such good friends. You and Jack have become family to me, and I am so grateful for that."

Soon Miseria got finished with her first vegetable salat. She put the bowl away, and looked at the other vegetables what wanted to be cut in pieces. Then she searched for a scheese, what she found in ice box. Then she sighed quietly, and started making the Caesar salat, letting the white bread fly trough the air. Then she put the spell on a knife what started cutting slices of bread into little peaces.

"You have some scars, but you're right. I don't see them making you any less, and certainly Jack's the sort of man who wouldn't look at them and see you as less either. He would see you. And you're right when you say Rob is going to be the same way. I think marriage and pregnancy is bringing all my little quirky insecurities to light. I trust Rob more than I have trusted any one. For some reason, this isn't really about him. Its more about me, I think. It's more about wanting to be so strong, and so happy all the time that I never give him any reason to want to be with somebody else. I want his life to be nothing but happiness. And I don't want to be the cause of him not being happy--about anything."

Jess slipped back on her top and sat next to her " he will any way because hes with you and he loves you and the baby" she said "its your little things that make you who he loves " she chuckled "I know if jack didn't want me he'd have not botherd trying to find me and found some on else but he didn't he stuck it out and i am here now thanks partly to you and him"

Jess took a deep breath as she felt her own dizzy spell take hold "men want to think there in control , what you need to do is let him think he is but in actuality you are, like jack, i wanted him out he room, so i gave him the look that told him we were talking baby talk , he hates that so he left , see, i am in control yet he thinks he was" she said chuckling at it.

"And I actually am enjoying Rob being in charge for right now--sort of," Khaat laughed. "He doesn't know I spent all day on my feet in Sevile Row. He probably wouldn't like that. But I enjoy his devotion and his attention. I know there is a part of him that is boyish enough to still like to girl watch and to have a couple too many ales at the pub from time to time, but he doesn't like my 'fight first and ask question later' tendencies, so I guess it really does balance out. Maybe you're right. Maybe I'm spending too much time worrying about trying to become who he wants and maybe I just need to be me."

Jack took a step back as he looked at Gar "you don't know steak?" he said his face in moke shock "ow, ow i have to change that" he said now seriouse "ok you have sevral types of stake ,theres Rib Eye Steak , rib eye has the most fat compared to the other cuts, which is why it's such a tender, juicy, and flavorful piece of beef. and then you have New York Strip Steak , It is very well marbled, tender, and full flavored then you have Beef Tenderloin, my favorate ...well was the T-Bone Steak ,Flank Steak and lots more " he said pointing to the masive steak on the barbeque "this is the porterhouse steak, grilled over a wood or charcoal fire, and seasoned with salt and, sometimes, black pepper, and olive oil. Thickly cut and very large, witch is why these steaks are often shared between two or more persons" he said turning it over , his muscles in his arms flexed as he did.

Garulia nodded.
"I like T-bone the most. I know the types of STEAK, just not the types of cooking, get it? Like, well done and that."

Khaat looked at Jess, "You know, I think we need to go keep Mis company. She's in that kitchen all by herself. I think I feel better enough to go there now. You want to come with me?"

Jack took Gars hand "ok bring your finger to your thumb each time you touch it with a different finger the tougher it is the softer the rarer, you have Rare thats with blood coming out my favorate,Medium-rare thats profound sear on the outside edges and a red center, Medium, Medium-well and finally Well-done There should be no sign of any red or pink meat when your steaks are fully cooked" he said poking the stake on the barbaque.

Jessica smiled "of course we have to stick together , besides Jack would kill me and you if were alone to long" she said holding out her hand to her "remember slowly does it " she said now grinning "me more so than you I think" rubbing the small bump now showing on her belly "besides i feel like some cucumber and relish"she looked confused "ow boy here come the cravings" she said shaking her head "like you and orange juice , its just what your body and the baby or babies want , can't stop it"
