"Come on," She said gently, "You have to eat. It will help. Trust me." She helped him gently and slowly up. "Com on, all. We have to get some food--all of us. Let's eat. Come with me, Gar. I'll help if you need it."

Gar slowly stood with Khaat and walked into the kitchen.
"I can do it," he told her, sitting down in a chair. "Er, if you don't mind, can you just put my steak on my plate? That would help."

"Sure," Khaat smiled, fixing a plate for him. "Take your time, but do eat a good meal. It will make you feel 100% better. I promise." Then she motioned to everyone else. "Come on, all. Fix your plates. Dig in and help yourself." Khaat sat down and chose a small filet mignon steak for herself and a serving of Mis's marvelous potatoes, along with the terrific salads that Mis always knew how to make just right. Khaat's parents turned up and joined them at the table, glad to see the wonderful meal that had been prepared.

Jack sat next to jess his arm around her, reatching out he pintched some of her salad and she swatted his hand giggling at him for doing so. He glanced at Khaat and smiled then looked around the room , Andrew sat watching his bottle held in his hand as he too watched. Jack had nevr felt part of a family but now he did he had a soon to be wife and his son and now he felt things were finally happy "so Gar hows the steak?" he asked cutting his own and placing it in his mouth feeling the warm blood run down his throat "Mumm, I forgot what steak tasted like , wonderful" he said grinning.

Miseria let the glasses fly on the table, each one next to the filled dishes, and the same she did with forks and knifes. Then she sat down next to Khaat, waving with her wand. Glasses filled themselves with water and then it all was ready. "Umm, hope you all enjoy it," she said quietly.

"It's delicious, Mis," Khaat smiled, eating a potato piece. "I love your potatoes. You are a very, very good cook, Mis. Thank you so much for helping out tonight--all of you. I hope this is the first of a lot of big family meals with all of us together, with a lot of love and a lot of laughter. And guys, my steak is perfect."

Jess smiled as she took a bite of her salad watching as jack being cheeky stole one of her cucumber slices she swattd his hand giggling as she did , but as he cut the steak he had she felt quezy then with him eating it she dove to the bath room, throwing up "I knew there was something I forgot" she said to her self just before she did again.

Moments later she finally finshed and she washed up before returning to the table and he salad "sorry , guess they don't like the smell of blood" she said sitting down once more next to jack leaning slightly on him as she wrapped his arm around her

Garulia smiled at Mis, then at Khaat, then at everyone else.
"Great steak, great everything," Gar said, pouring steak sauce on his steak and ripping into his food like a crazed lion. Which, technically, he was if you got right down to it.

"There's plenty more, Gar. Help yourself," Khaat smiled. She liked people to feel comfortable and at home with her. "And if you want to share what you're seeing with me, I'm available any time you are. I wonder if I can conjure up any pistachio ice cream for dessert. I have the oddest craving for pistachio ice cream. Oh, gosh, listen to me. I hope I don't do this for the next eight months. I'll gain 50 pounds." She caught herself with her cravings. These were new to her, and maybe she was the only one who liked pistachio ice cream. She honestly thought it was important not to sound weird to her friends and family. Her parents laughed, taking her new cravings in stride. "I'm sure we can come up with that, Baby," her father laughed, "It's not that odd, really. I've had other moms want stranger things. Ice cream is pretty tame, really."

"Thanks," Gar said, smiling at her. Then he laughed at her cravings. "Two types of ice cream. You can have your craving one, and we can have chocolate vanilla all that..."
He faked drooling at the thought of ice cream and laughed.
