What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Elijah smirked and nodded with a chuckle. He sat down and took his books out to get references from. He'd read through them and made some side notes in the margins but he didn't know the books off by heart. Many things he had remembered and other than that he would work on skill. "I plan on it, Sir." he said with conviction.

Abbey ran into the room, knowing she was a bit late. "I'm so sorry I didn't arrive earlier Headmaster, I got lost on the way here!" Abbey said.

Vincent looked at the next student who came in, another Hufflepuff. "Good morning Miss Dawn, and no, you are not late," he added. "In fact, you are early." He waited quietly for the next students to arrive so he could start the class.

"Wooooooooh, Alchemy." Keith muttered as he ran up the spiral stairs to the 7th floor. "That's a fun word to say. Alchemy. Aaaaaaaaaaalchemy. Alalalalalalalalalalchemy. A- Oh, I'm here!' He grinned and pulled open the door, stepping into the classroom. There were 3 people in there, but he only knew Abbey. He grinned and nodded at the professor. All he knew about him was that he had taken over Shacklebolt's old job, meaning Keith didn't have much of an opinion of him.

Vincent looked up as another student came in, wearing a big grin on his face. Annoying, Vincent hated it when students looked so happy. The student had made quite a lot of noise coming here, which was also annoying. Surprisingly, he was a Ravenclaw, a house that Vincent favored, as he had been in it. "Welcome Mr.Nicholas," he said curtly.

Abbey breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh good, I thought I was late!" she said, taking a seat. Abbey threw her books on the desk, and looked up just as Keith entered the room. "Hey Keith!" she said, waving at him to come sit by her.

"Well I guess enough people have come, half have at least. The others can catch up later, so... lets begin.. Vincent flicked his wand at the board, so the chalk automatically wrote on the board.
INTRODUCTION TO ALCHEMY
"Welcome to Alchemy class students," he said. "In this class, you will learn the transmutation of basic metals into the most valuable materials on the planet. You will learn the art of spiritual alchemy and creating simple elixers," Vincent informed them. "But this is just the first class and we won't be doing any of that. So, I'd like to ask the question. What is the basic definition of Alchemy?

"Alchemy. The art of Transmutation of material. Based upon the rule of equal exchange." James Wake just entered the classroom, feeling like the class would be a joke. What he knew about Alchemy he learned since he was nine. He also didn't know about the Headmaster. It would be a good class to relax and learn about the Headmaster.

Vincent nodded as another Ravenclaw entered the class and gave a mediocre answer. "5 points to Ravenclaw. However, transmutation is only one part of Alchemy. Alchemy is an art focused on the attempt to achieve wealth, life and wisdom. Copy this down. Alchemists achieve wealth by transmutation, they achieve wisdom through spiritual alchemy, and they seek to increase life or achieve immortality through elixers. Today, we will be studying basic Transmutation."

Miseria looked at the jolly students who entered the classroom. She held back her laugh when all of them were talking so happily to the headmaster. Ah, they haven't talked with him that much. When Vincent asked a question, Miseria was ready to reply but then Ravenclaw student appeared to enter the classroom and answer right away. She sighed quietly and took her parchment and quill. Alcemy. That was the only thing what made her stay in this classroom. Thank goodness. Then she started to write it all down.
