Basic Class 1

Vincent Majere walked into his classroom at the 7th floor, having walked up from 6th floor. It wasn't very far, but he was rather tired, he sat down at his chair and put his papers in front of him. He waited for the people from his Basic level class to show up.

Miseria knew that it was a great mistake what she'd made. She was on the seventh floor, scowling and looking around if there are students who were at the same class with her. Sighing quietly, she took the first steps and entered the classroom and smiled softly at Vincent. Probably he already knew that there has been change in her family name. He may hate her more, but she hates him as well. And already the fact that he may want to kill her and probably give her thousands and thousands detensions, she will live and laugh at him. "Good day, sir," she greeted him and sat as far as she could from him. At the last row.

Vincent glared as the first student entered the class. He had been surprised when Miseria had put her name up for the class, hebelieved she had just done it to annoy him further. Vincent had a very cool temper though, he just sneered back. "Miss Manson, I'm glad you expressed interest in my class," he said coolly. "I must say, it is a surprise, as Alchemy is an art that requires intelligence as well as skill, both of which you have already demonstrated that you severely lack. But then, you may prove me wrong."

Miseria was still smiling at him and she took out her wand what she placed on the table. Then she looked back at him, raising her eyebrows:“I'm not interested in your class, sir, I'm interested in Alchemy,“ she corrected him. When she started insulting her, she just sighed and looked at him with a blurry look in her eyes:“You want me to sit at the first row, just infront of you so we can continue our talk without loud voice?“ she asked him in a gentle voice. Smile was still on her face. Vincent was funny, though, she loved to insult him and it seemed that he enjoyed doing it as same as she did.

Elijah opened the door of the Alchemy class and closed it gently behind him. He was tired and knew he was probably early seeing as he had left earlier than he had intended to upon finding out that Alchemy on the seventh floor was his first class for the year. He was Slytherin and lived in what seemed liked the bottom of the world. However, he was glad for the walk. It gave Stripes a chance to have a run and he gave a few of the younger students a show. How often did you see a White Bengal Tiger running through the halls of Hogwarts?

"Good Day, Professor." Eli greeted as he moved further inside to take a seat. "Are you looking forward to teaching?"

Vincent was glad that another student had come so he didn't have to continue talking to Manson. He knew the new student, he had heard his name from Shacklebolt before. "Mr.Krum is it? Welcome," he said curtly. "And I rather am actually, though I do hope that you students are smarter than you look like, or else we won't really get all that far in this course."

Miseria shrugged as an answer. Yes, she would love to stay here as well. But his responses made already her day. She looked around in the classroom. It seemed so empty without any students! But her eyes stopped again at Vincent and she sighed quietly:“And may I ask why Alchemy?“ she asked him. And then the door fell open, she looked around. Elijah!
So after all, he was Okay. No signs of Pneunomia or something. When he asked Vincent, making this slight Slytherinic tone, Miseria bit strongly her lip. Though, they had both fell into the lake and almost died there, she thought that he was different. Somehow.

Elijah bit back a scathing reply and decided to brush off the insult. He deposited his bag under one of the tables and pulled out a chair so he could sit down. He had confidence that his Headmaster would warm to him. Shacklebot hated the Slytherin’s and the feeling was mutual but Eli had a feeling that it wasn't the case with Vincent Majere. "Looks can be deceiving, Professor." he said lightly.

"Indeed, and I hope you prove that to me by the end of this lesson," Vincent replied, ignoring Miseria. It was good that Elijah hadn't lost his temper, like Manson. Vincent didn't exactly want to take points from Slytherin. He had always liked that house, although he was in Ravenclaw when at Hogwarts. So he had a personal attachment to Ravenclaw as well. Anyways, there was one thing good about Krum, at least he had come early. Though coming early didn't exactly mean that they were smart, or a good student, as Miseria had shown.
