"I already said go have fun. I won't help you have any fun, sorry to say. That guy's a werewolf...vamp...she's a half-veela... Oh, sorry. Got lost in how many different people are here. Oh! I know! You could tell me people to profile!"

"I DON'T do gracefulness, OR upper class anythings," Varod replied coldly. "You may be a big partier, but I don't EVER completely let my guard down. I'm ALWAYS on the look out. Besides, that was a cheap shot and you know it."

"If you're going to talk to me like that then I refuse to see you." she said as she began to walk off. She had been completely serious about it too. She didn't need someone who tried to start a fight with her every two seconds because they grew bored.

Varod sighed.
He was really starting to get pissed at her.
Standing up, he called out to her.
"Christy! Wait up!"
Once he caught up to her, he wheeled her around and looked into her eyes.
"Look, I'm sorry I'm not Prince Charming, but just then I was joking, okay?"

She jerked her arm out of his hand. "No you weren't and I don't want to be anywhere near you when you're pissed off at me for no reason." she said glaring at him. "Don't lie to me like you would a two year old. We all know you came here to people watch because you don't do things like this ok....I would have just figured you would have come to be with me but thats not the case and you don't want to be with me here in fact you don't even want to be here so why don't you just leave already?!"

Varod stayed calm. If all his training had given him anything, it was the power to stay calm.
"Haven't I already stated I didn't know you would be here?" he asked. "I was joking. And I'm pissed at you because you're freaking out again."
Seeing all the stares, Varod shot the people a glance that made them cower.
"I really was just joking before, and I have NEVER, EVER lied to you, so don't ever say that again."

"Ok you're pissed off at me and you won't let me leave you alone, how f**king fair is that?" she asked looking at him. "I tried to remove my self from a fight and more drama than I need and you refuse to let me leave. I'm the one freaking out? How about you? I'm not the one trying to control the other like you and then flipping out when you figure out that they have a damn brain and you can't stop them from thinking."

"Isn't that what you seem not to be able to do? Figure out that others have a brain?" Varod's voice was very quiet, but seemed like it was dipped in poison before it left his lips. "You are the one starting the fight. I made one single joke and you totally flip out. Here, look at this."
He pulled out his wallet and showed her a picture of him and her, standing together and smiling.
"See this picture? It shows one of the few things I care about: you."
At that, he turned and walked away, saying: "fine, I'm gone."

"I didn't flip out you moron. I walked off rather than sitting around with you being rather cold towards me and acting like I don't freaking exist in this place." she said glaring at him. "I was walking off because you don't act like you joke when you do and I didn't want to get in a fight here of all places with you!"
