Christy frowned. "Nevermind then." she said a little defeated. "I wanted to dance with you or at least try to teach you how to dance." she said sadly. "You just don't want to dance with me is what it is."

"No, I really do want to! But I just...can't. I've never been music coordinated or been able to dance or anything," Varod said, walking her back to the corner and embracing her, where he knew no one could see. "I really am sorry."

"Just forget about it." she said sitting down in one of the chairs in the corner. "Just forget I even asked about it please." She sat in the dark corner she new she couldn't stay in too long or people would wonder where she had disappeared to. Especially her adopted sister.

Varod held her hand.
"Fine. I'm still sorry, but okay," he said, kissing her lightly on the lips. "You sure it's safe to be with me here where anyone can come here?"

"It'll be fine." she said smiling weakly. "Besides I can always make up an excuse and use my charm on some if I have to." she continued to say. It had been completely true. She could make up a believable excuse for any who would ask why she was there with him.

Varod sat next to her in another chair, kissing her lightly.
"Alright...if you want, I can TRY and dance..." he muttered. "I've never been able too...so...yeah...If you want me too, I will. For you. JUST this ONE time."

She smiled "Well if you want I can lead and at least try to teach you." she replied smiling. She kissed his cheek and jumped up out of the chair grabbing his arm and practically pulling him on the dance floor. "Here put your hand on my waist." she said keeping his other hand in hers.

"Like that?" he asked, mirroring her steps with a look of concentration.

"Yup." she said smiling. "Ok now I'm going to lead until you can get the hang of it ok." she said as a slow song started playing. "Don't worry I won't make you do anything complicated I promise." she said as she started to move into a waltz. "Think you can do it?"
