Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It was nice to have yet another person who enjoyed the outdoors as much as she did. A lot of people would complain that it was dark and 'creepy' outside. Ginevra would just say that the sounds were soothing and very good for you. There wasn't any stress in being outdoors. When you were cooped up inside, thoughts got to you way faster! Okay- so this wasn't true, but she was saying to herself that it was so she had an excuse not to return to her dorm room. "Reminds me of a place my mom used to talk about. Or at least an overpopulated one. One that isn't would be far, not that we can't apperate." thinking, she had been to several places before but where had the places with beaches been? This was where her dad teaching her muggle geography as a child would have helped: too bad it was the one thing she hadn't listened to!

"When should we go though?" Topher asked. He wasn't to sure if Ginerva was serious about going, but he sure was. He would feel slightly let down if she decided no to go, but he figured she was serious about it. As often as she, as he, disappeared, he couldn't see why she wouldn't, unless she felt it may be awkward between the two of them. After the last conversation and all.

The last thing Ginevra would let happen was awkward tensions between the two of them. She couldn't just throw away a friendship because of how someone felt. It was wrong for anyone to do that, anyday, anytime. "How about Christmas Break? It's coming up, and unless you're going home it would be a good time." she offered up her idea of when as she was serious about this all.

"Well I have to stop in and see my pops for at least one day. Then he has to go back to work, so yea!" Topher said enthusiastically. He couldn't wait to see his dad, but he was even more excited to go on a vacation with Ginerva. "Where would you like to meet?" Topher asked. Since he was going home, he needed a rendevous point.

Ginevra thought for a second, as it wasn't as if she would be going anywhere specific beforehand. "I can meet you in the town you're situated in or something. That or we can just meet in Hogsmedge." since she had no one to actually go see, travelling wouldn't be an issue, and neither would timing.

"Deal" Topher said. Hogsmeade was an easy destination for him to get to from his house. He wished that his father didn't have to work, but the Ministry needed him, and Topher understood. And hey, at least he had a father, it could be so much worse. "At The Three Broomsticks?"

Nodding, The Three Broomsticks worked out perfectly. "How many days after Christmas Break starts?" she questioned, wondering how long she would have to go home for, or at least wander. Ginevra really never had planned out her Christmas but now was the time. As much as she hated to face the facts, it was coming up after all. Yes- you were also getting the message right. Ginevra didn't like Christmas, and haven't for the last few years. Before the last few years, she hadn't either. But back then it had only been the recieving gifts part. Now it was the whole concept. Giving was something she still enjoyed, none the less though.
