Yeah 3 weeks! Decent indeed.

She was truly one of a kind. She wouldn't give up, ever, he had begun to notice that. Coming here had definately been a mistake, but it didn't matter now, perhaps now if he left, she would forget about him eventually? It might take years, it would probably, considering how obsessed she was with him. But eventually, she would move on, she would have to. All it would take was to go out of the door, she couldn't stop him from doing that. But he found that he couldn't. He kept thinking of how she would be after he would leave. Would she cry? Probably, although Darren had never seen her cry once in real life, not even after her sister passed away. She was too stubborn, too obsessed with being tough in front of others - especially him - to do so. But he imagined that she would, and to think it was all his fault... leaving now would be cruel. Staying however, in his mind, would be more cruel. Worse, it would be selfish. He had always been selfish to a certain extent with most people, but not with his family, and not with her. He still held the door handle tightly, but didn't turn it and walk out.
You think for once actually caring for somebody will kill you? Hearing her words, his hands clenched into fists, and then suddenly he lost his temper. "It's because I care for you that I'm leaving! Can't you understand that? I've explained it to you a million times! Why don't you get it? Do you have to make things more complicated for me? And for yourself?!" he yelled, suddenly losing it completely. He had bottled his temper for a long time, refraining from saying what he wanted to say, but it had become to much now. Still, it was definately not the right thing to say, this would just make her more stubborn. It would give her more hope that he actually loved her too, cared for her. He ground his teeth to refrain from saying anything else, then turned the handle and opened the door, a cool breeze entered the room, as he waited at the door - an uncomfortable silence had fell in the room.
