Seeing her roll her eyes, and hearing what she said after, Darren just glared back at her with rising irritation. What did he not get? He didn't understand her at all, after coming all this way just to check on her, she was saying that he obviously didn't care for her. He couldn't believe it, he definately knew now that he shouldn't have come here at all. The thing was, Darren had been through so much in his lifetime he did not really feel any compassion for other people, not even his friends. So he didn't really care when people complained to him, because as far as he was concerned, they didn't have a reason too. After all, he didn't go around moaning about his life all day. Her accusations on him not being with her during full moon just made him more annoyed. It was quite true, he hadn't been there, but had reasons. "Do you really believe that I would just leave you alone for no reason? Expecially if you needed me?" he asked sternly. "I had my own reasons for not being there with you. I apologize for that, but you really should stop accusing me. And by the way, I doubt me being there would of made any difference at all," he added. It was true enough, werewolves didn't recognize friend from foe in their transformed state. It was odd, Darren had always considered Ginevra to not be an overly emotional person, and she wasn't. It was one of the things he had liked about her. But obviously she had changed since he had left.
