Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!! Razz

Uhm, yeah, I think it's a bit all OTT really. There have been a few casses, but not THAT many. A few schools have closed around England, but not many. It's all too dramatic for my liking...

Just be careful to whome you're touching or kissing and try NOT to eat swine meat and all should be good.I would suggest you to try to live on fish and vegetables, but well not that drastic,

YOU CAN NOT GET SWINE FLU FROM THE MEAT.

This is an airborne disease, the same as the normal flu. It is not transmitted thru meat. Not to mention by the time anyone eats pork the meat has been processed and cleaned.

Do you know how long and what the process is for an animal/meat to come from the place when it is grown and killed until it reaches your table? I am very familar with this process.

Yeah, it's not very deadly though. It hasn't killed many people, only in Mexico, I think. I don't know if anyone has died in England yet. I'm off school now though!! Yaaaaay =))

Yes it has! It's killed 45 people in the state as of this week! My state has 92 cases! None in my town as of what I've heard...but there is a great website to learn all you need to about the Swine Flu

http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/update.htm

It can tell you of anywhere in the US of A how many cases have been proven to be Swine Flu, and how many have died from each state! Sorry I don't know about people in other countries.
