The Great Lake

Zoe looked from Danny to Gin. She was still very out of the loop and that was ok with her. SHe just didnt want eveything going wrong here.

"About?" she asked, trying to hide the fact that her teeth were gritting together.

Darren scowled as Danny came, he didn't want to talk to anybody right now - expecially not him. Unsurprisingly, he didn't bother returning the greeting."Yeah, just go and leave me alone here again, its what your good at," he said furiously to Gin. Turning, he started walking back to the castle.

Squishing her eyes shut at the words, she shook her head. The thought of it was hard enough but hearing what she thought she would was even harder. "Seems so." she whispered to herself, hanging her head and turning, letting her hair fly with her. Taking her wand out, she knew now that staying away from Hogwarts would be easy but staying away from Darren would be harder. Since he was the reason she was leaving, she wanted him to be safe but not seeing was already killing her - especially if those were the last words she heard. Summoning her stuff from by the door, Ginevra caught it and hooked them around her shoulder catching her broom last and starting to walk toward the barrer where she could just disappear.

Zoe watched as everyone got ready to go their separte ways. Boy this wasn't what she in mind this morning when she came out here. She watched as everyone left.

Darren turned slowly, half way to the castle. He was trying to pretend he didn't care, like her, but it was proving rather difficult. He couldn't let her leave just like that, and he had some questions anyways. "When are you coming back?" Darren asked loud enough so that she could hear from the distance. He didn't really care exactly when she was coming back, what he really wanted to know was IF she was coming back at all.

Stopping at the sound of the voice coming from a distance, she had a tear going down her cheek and before turning, Ginevra closed her eyes once more and took a deep breath, putting on a fake face, though it was expressinless. She never liked looking weak in any way, even from a disance, in front of him. "Why would you care." she called back, being stubborn like always. She couldn't help it, she was always a little pissy when she was sad.

Darren watched her expression from the distance, it was quite blank. This just made him more annoyed, it showed that she didn't care at all. "Cause, unlike you, I do care for my best friend," he replied, just managing not to lose temper totally.

If Darren did actually know Ginevra well he'd know that when her expression was blank something was always wrong, that was her only way to hiding it. The other thing was when you was like this her eyes told you everything, he was the only one who knew that but apperently he didn't remember; that and the fact he was to far to see right in her eyes. Firing up slightly, she wanted to chuck something at hearing that. "Like hell I don't care for my best friend! Why else would I leave." she shouted back, her eyebrows pulling together in slight fusteration.

Darren scowled as she started shouting. He was about to shout back, when he suddenly took in what she had said. "What?" he said, tilting his head slightly. "Ginevra, why are you leaving?" he asked again. He doubted she would tell him the first time but he would just ask her until she told him.
