The Battle No One Planned

Alexis let out a low growl when the man stepped in front of the boy. Still, she had done damage, that was enough for her. She was about to send another spell at the boy when Jack caused the floor beneath her to explode. Pieces of the floor boards flew up and scratched her arms and face. The hole that was created sent her plummeting down from the room with debris from the floor falling along with her.

She landed on the ground underneath, the debris falling on to and covering her.

Jack expected Alexis to sink into the floorboards and find herself immobile. But the spell was much stronger than she had anticipated and Alexis soon fell through the floor entirely. Even the other Death Eater paused. Jack shot a spell at the man that briefly shot sparks on his face. She ran to the hole in the floor and jumped on, quickly pulling the boards off. "Alexis?"

James wasn't part of the death eaters, but he had a gut feeling that something was wrong with Alexis. He was very protective of her seeing how they were torture buddies. Apperating into Hogsmeade he kept his hood up and walked seen the shack smoking he he laughed his cold laugh and smirked. After a few minutes he busted into the room as he looked down to see Alexis laying motionless on the ground. "Alexis!"said James as he he jumped down beside her body.

"What the hell did you to her?!?"James asked Jack angrily. He wanted to send a spell at her right now, but he kept his cool as he looked down at Alexis.

The fall looked like something a person like Alexis could handle but the position in which she had fallen wasn't the ideal one for surviving that type of fall. Let alone with the debris that had fallen on top of her before it was moved.

She was semi crushed underneath it and she'd hit her head rather hard when she landed on the ground. With blood seeping from her head where she had collided with the ground, the Werewolf's eyes had fluttered closed and her body was limp.

Jack began to uncover the figure of Alexis d'Eath, pulling floorboards, splintered furniture, and rubble off of the girl. The male Death Eater was struggling to rise as Jack finally got the female's body uncovered, she quickly moved to turn the woman's chin. There was no light in the countenance. Jack reached for her wrist and held it for a moment, two, three, four...

"F*ck it all to hell," Jack said, true anger and anguish in her voice. She rose, carefully lifting Alexis and setting her onto to floor, before beginning to clamber out of the hole herself. A male was challenging her. Jack stared at him calmly and said, "She was attacking students. We were trying to neutralize her and... I'm afraid she's gone."

As the first spell came rushing towards him, the gashing spell, he could not react quick enough to dodge out of the way so if it weren't for that man who had stepped right in front of him, Xem would've been badly internally injured.

Walter was quite surprised like he stood there quite shocked, that is until another charm was flung right at him. Now with his guard up, Walt was oriented enough to roll out of the way at the charm. However him now being on the ground left him a little disoriented now. He never was really good at rolling out of the way anyways.

He tried holding on to pieces of the wall but unfortunately to his luck the piece he tried to grab was on fire. Walt had burned his hand and immediately pulled his hand away from the wall. His hand sizzled. Walter picked himself up from the floor and put his wand at the ready again.

Since Xem was unable to get up in his disarray the man who had protected him had gotten hit by a spell. So as in act of retaliation to protect the man that had just protected him, Walt performed the disarming spell on to the lady death eater.

"Expelliarmus!" Xem had shouted. Walt had a couple of other spells planned just in case this one had not worked. He had to protect this man now, he did in fact owe him.

Alex was hiding within the forest by the shack, behind a tree using the shadow to make sure that he wouldn't be spotted. Along with a charm on his face to alter his appearance, just in case someone spots him. Stunning the people that didn't have a mark on there arm, as they apparated was his task.

He helped them out because they were forcing him too. Along with Alexis being there, he needed her to make sure that he would get her back. Yet, he had a bad feeling about this.....something had gone on, when he felt her pluse lower until it was gone. His family magic could feel a person emotions, where they were at and many more but it looks like she was gone.

" DAMN IT!! "

Alex had cursed under his breathe as he punched the tree with all his strength. He would need to find another Death Eater that knew where Naomi was, if they still had her. So he decided on doing them a favor to bring up later for the info. Aim his wand towards the trees closer to shack.

" Incendio! "

A torrent of flames had hit the tree's, causing it to be set on fire. Alex had started to get away from the tree's now, as he had started a forest fire. To attract the attention of many, while they would need to deal with it soon, or the whole forest may just burn down along with the shack.

So many of the Death eaters could have a escape route, while making sure that everyone else could get away. He would walk away from the scene, before he could come back and act like a " helpful person " Taking the long way around the forest, where it wasn't on fire yet. So he could rush in from the front and try to be a hero.

All of the clamor and the rebounding of spells had come to an abrupt end. It had seemed that Jack had accidently killed another being. Personally Walter did not care because he knew very well that she was causing mayhem among others and she could've very well killed many other innocent people. However there was still that little thought in the back of his head that made him think that there could've been another way instead of death. Bah it was an accident. Xem still knew though that this accident wouldn't be taken too lightly with the order.

He looked up at Jack, kinda stammering on what to say or what not to say. "I....errgh...." and just as he was about to comment he looked straight out the window.

Trees began catching aflame, someone had created a forest fire. Everywhere was now in danger and it was everyone's duty to react quickly now.

"JACK! LOOK!" Xem yelled pointing at the burning trees. He immediately rushed outside into the forest and began casting charms of water, ice, and cooling to take down the forest fire. If everyone reacted quickly this could be prevented. However if everyone did not, then there would be massive amounts of trouble headed there way.

Somehow, the duel raged on around her. Jack stared down at the male newcomer for a moment, Alexis at her feet. This was not what she would ever have wanted to happen - ever. She flicked her wand and a yellow ribbon burst from the tip, wrapping around Alexis' body and holding her in one place. A small golden aura surrounded her - it would protect the body from falling debris, fire, and other unsafe conditions that threatened to harm her. Jack could respect Alexis' humanity, even if she had been losing it.

Her name caught her attention just as a burning rafter fell before her face, scalding her forearms and burning away parts of her clothes, blistering her skin. She shielded her face and jumped over the rafter, flicking her wand so Alexis' body could levitate off of the ground and work its way to safety. 

She looked and saw what Xem was pointing too. Jack looked up and saw the shack was coming down. "Get out! It's coming down." She looked at those who remained. "Get to safety!" Even the Death Eaters - Jack wanted no more death there tonight.
