The Battle No One Planned

Jude was not a fighter. He was a talker, and a planner. But he knew the Dark Mark meant show up and assist, it meant to do the duty you had promised to do. Even so, he changed his look before he went. He arrived, looking like a man named Donnovan that he had met on his last trip to the Americas, with his Death Eater mask fixed upon his features for extra measures. He was taller, his face transformed, and much broader. No one would suspect the Undersecretary was here.

Though Jude was not a fighter, he knew how to duel. He had been a ruthless victor in Duelling Club, and he had passed every course the Ministry required their officials took to be consider powerful wizards. He looked about and raised his wand. A powerful sonic boom spread over the room, sweeping everything it hit back against the walls, sending glass and debris flying.

Hallie:

Hallie grinned in triumph at the successful disarming charm just in time to stop the killing curse taking effect. Despite that she was still in shock, sure she had dealt with deadly things in her life time - including hearing the father suffer the killing curse through the closet she had hid in as a child during a death eater attack on their home. 

However seeing that almost happen to the lady who'd informed her of Toby's current happenings made the whole situation seem that much more real. 

The sound of Carter's voice flooded Hallie's ears. He was outside and couldn't catch what he had said, however during her attempt to find out a death eater had hit her in the back with everte statum, sending her blasting into a wall by the door.

Gasping for breath Hallie rubbed her back and looked around the room. There were two students, death eaters, Jack landing a successful punch on Charlotte and... JOSHUA?!

The man she had spent a one night stand with. One of the wildest nights of her life was there in the shack, which meant one thing. He was either a death eater or an order member.

'We're fine. B-be quick!' Hallie shouted to Carter through the wall, before struggling to her feet and pointing her wand at the death eater who'd hit her.

'Petrificus Totalus!' WHAM! Her hex had landed right on target at the death eater aross the room froze and fell with a bang.

Charlotte:

WHAM! a hard fist handed landed right on the edge of Charlotte's nose, showering blood all around her. However before the death eater could take any of this in ropes had began to ensnare and restrict her movement.

'Get off me!' She cried, before her eyes caught the girl who had stopped her from killing her all time rival. 'I will kill you!' Topez boomed, threatening Hallie.

Carter had run next to Hallie."Are there any more death eater?"He was worried not only for his kid but for the students who were being attacked.He thought he was lucky his sister didn't come but anyways she couldn't.Suddenly without him noticing Carter's hair turned purple as soon as he told himself his sister and kid were safe.
He looked at the girl who attacked Dyllan "So, she is a death eater."He said with a tone of disappointment knowing one of his sister's favorite player tried to kill Jack."Jamie won't believe me."

Wham! The sonicboom had sent both Hallie and Charlotte flying against the walls. With a thud Hallie felt her leg break with the impact, letting out a shriek of pain as she rummaged among the rubble for her wand in order to heal herself.

Meanwhile the shards of wood and blast that Charlotte had took loosened her bindings. Quickly squirming free Charlotte crawled across the room, panting slightly from the sonicboom, to find her own wand.

Charlotte was still wrapped in the ropes and Jack stood up from the blast, bleeding from her cheekbone. At the other woman's comment, Jack could not resist. She quipped, "Not all tied up, you won't."

She turned, facing the new arrival, when her eyes were caught by Hallie's mangled legs. "Ferula." She turned back to see the newcomer looking pretty scary. She raised her wand when another Death Eater suddenly burst in and hit her from the side. She rolled over and kicked them off, trying to blast her way out.

Hallie caught sight of her pear wand, although by that time a set of bandages were wrapping her leg into a tight cast to hold her bone together. Looking up she caught sight of a new arrival who had blasted everyone back with a sonicboom. She was certain that he was siding with the death eaters but Whoever he was Hallie couldnt muster through the pain. Grasping her wand she aimed it at her injured leg. 'episkey!' with an earsplitting crack and a screech from Hallie her broken bones clicked into place, being healed once more. She then tied a knott in the bandage for added support.

Across the room Charlotte had completely wriggled free and too had grasped her wand. 'I'm no longer tied up you dunderhead!' Charlotte cried with a smug expression resting in her cold eyes. Aiming her wand she began to slowly walk towards Jack. This time the beater wouldnt be so lucky...

"Hallie are you okay?"He asked the girl who had landed near him, which of course he remembered."Are you in the order?"Joshua asked her as he Tried to help her up.He took out his wand"Stupefy!"As he hoped the curse would the girl Jack had tied up ,which was free again.He was not great with charms but he was accurate.

Jack used both of her back legs and kicked off the new Death Eater, sending him sprawling across the floor. She turned and spotted Charlotte approaching. She flung out her arm and pointed it at Charlotte's feet. "Engorgio!" She jumped to her feet and leaned her shoulder as the other Death Eater rammed her. He flipped over her form and she turned the wand on him. "Stupefy!"

Hallie looked up into the olive eyes of Joshua. She recognised those beautiful set eyes carved into deep olive eyelids. How could she not after spending so much time looking into them an entire evening. Yet what was he doing here? It simply didnt make sense, non the less Hallie was still glad to see a familiar face.

'No. I got the auror job. A villager reported the attack and I was the only one in the office to come. Wait how are you-' Hallie began to explain but before she could continue her question her attention was drawn by Charlotte Topez who had just been hit in the feet by an engorgement charm by Jack, causing her to topple over.

Admist the wails of Topez as her body fell with such a force Hallie seized her chance. She would take Charlotte to the ministry, have her put into a cell ready for a trial. A trial where she would be found guilty. Adrenaline began to flood Hallie's body at the prospect of bringing such justice as a mere trainee auror.

'Watch my back.' Hallie told Joshua as she reached for Charlotte's forgotten broomstick, lifting herself on sidesaddle and gliding across the floor to where Charlotte had fallen. All she needed to do was reach the death eater, grasp hold of her and apparate. That was if nobody caused any difficulties...

With the Dark Mark in the sky, Alexis knew she had to assist in whatever was going on. There wasn't much to explain to anyone, she left where she was and arrived at the Shrieking Shack to find multiple Order members already there.

It was obvious the Death Eaters were outnumbered, but she was still going to enter the battle. Alexis was not a girl that ran away, especially if she was outnumbered. The girl ran in, her wand already in her hand and she pointed it in the general direction of the Order members.

"Stupefy!" she shouted, not making sure if anyone was hit or not.
