The Battle No One Planned

Carter was ready to attack the death eater when a Stupefy curse hit him.He felt strange he never had been hit with a stunning curse he always was attacked with worse curses, like the cruciatus curse.He fell to the floor and his head started to bleed but something woke him up he didn't know what but something did.His head's left side hurt and when he put his hand there he felt it bleeding.He saw the guy who had attacked him and he showed him both his arms so he knew he wasn't a death eater.He went into a room were he saw fellow trainees and some students."Hey, I can take them somewhere safe."Referring to the students in the room were Hailee and Carth were."I'll take them and come back."

Hallie raised her head. Carter, a fellow trainee auror, bad entered the room asking to help evacuate the students. 'Take them to The Three Broomsticks, we can worry about getting them to St Mungo's later.' Hallie spoke knowing that it would take far too long for Carth or Carter to travel to St Mungo's with the injured, even by apparation. Besides their injuries weren't overly extensive, it appeared there was patches of blood and bruise from spells but they seemed like they would survive a little while longer.

'These may come in hand.' She added flicking her wand and conjuring a stretcher for one of the students who had collapsed. She wasn't sure if Carth would agree with her evacuation plan or if he had something else in mind but either way the stretcher could come in use for transporting any of the injured before Hallie returned to the fight.

'Carter do you know if anyone else is coming?' She asked, a note of concern trailing through her focused voice, hoping perhaps a more senior auror or Khaat Lupin would be on her way. It was surprising to Hallie how well as was handling the situation compared to her previous experience where she'd been a torrential wreck. Perhaps it had strengthened her as a person, or maybe it was the fact she was a trainee auror and felt more confident in her judgement?

Charlotte swerved out of the way of Jack Dyllan's jinx, instead it ricocheted from the wall and headed for Richard and fellow death eaters. Her eyes thinned and a dark plot flashed across them upon Jack's instructions to let the children walk free. 'Those useless students are the reason I was brought her. Wasting my time and removing my mask in public isn't doing me any favours so I won't return a favour. Not one of those brats is walking out alive to blab to the Prophet about my death eater inclinations and neither. Are you! Tope spat venomously.

Nobody stood in the way of her dreams of playing for England and being outed as a death eater would mean her shot at making the team was next to none - it would look bad for the team to play a criminal, what image would the England Squad be promoting?

Lowering her broom and lying flat on handle the pro beater shot like a javelin towards her arch nemesis, her wand aiming ahead also. 'DENSAUGEO!' She bellowed, casting a rather inaccurate jinx that, again, whizzed passed Jack Dyllan leaving them little time to react before the possible collision that could buck Topez from her broom and thrust Jack to the ground.

"Okay,I'll take them there maybe there is a healer in The Three broomsticks."He said "Thanks."He said to her offer of the stretchers.He placed the girls on the stretchers."Yeah, another order member, I've never seen, was coming and he thought I was a death eater and that thought I was going to attack Jack so he hit me with a stupefy,but I'm okay."Wingardium Leviosa.The stretcher, on which the oldest of the students was, started to levitate.He got out of the shack were the kids wouldn't be seen.

This was too much for Henri. She took a look about and jumped through one of the windows, sprinting away. She wasn't going to stick around in the flames for a fight that was not hers.


Three Order members rushed in to join the fray, but one immediately stunned the other. "Hey! Let's not attack our allies!" Jack would not use his name for the sake of discretion, but she hoped he heard her so she didn't have to worry about them either. She waved her want to rejuvenate the fallen Order member.

"Get the guys," she instructed. It seemed Charlotte would not tire of her. Jack ducked the spell but Charlotte was thrust atop her in the explosion. Jack tried to spin Charlotte around and pin her to the ground. "You idiot, I don't care about some rotten catfight. Come back another time so we can really get our punches in!"


((I'm going to assume Jack knows all the Order members. It's been inactive lately as I do not know what the oncoming plot is and the other meeting had next to no responses, as did our events. But Jack would know every member as she is the leader.)

"It's okay," Carth promised when he saw the blonde's expression when she was told they were leaving. The three Ravenclaws before him were incredibly brave for rushing into something they didn't even need to participate in. Glancing at the boy, Carth added, "If you want to stay, I can't stop you, but you need to be careful." Carth warned, though he had a feeling the boy knew.

Standing, Tris followed Carth and the man levitating Adrienne as they hurried out the back of the shack. "I guess we're taking her for help?" she asked carefully, unsure what the Aurors wanted to do.

"Carter, head back in, I'll take care of her." Carth said, gesturing to Addie. Turning to face Tris, he nodded. "Let's get her down to the Three Broomsticks."


/Exit Carth, Addie, Tris

As the debris crashed many pebbles and a piece of the floorboard had fallen on top of him. He fell to his knees a little disoriented. Everything was just a blur, but he shook himself away. He knew that he couldn't look this useless in front of Jack and that he had a duty of protection to complete.

Xem who was still a little disoriented, looked over at Hit. It had seemed that the person who was casting crucio on her had ceased so she was now barely moving. He scooted over to her position."Hit are you alright, c'mon get up. Let's make sure these people get out and that you're up and running again, we can't have you vulnerable like this." Walt said loudly over the sound of crumbling debris and crackling fire.

He also noticed that Soph was behind his trail when he had came out of her house. He was glad that now he had another extra able-bodied person to protect his little sister. Walt just hoped she'd stay safe as well. Xem cared for her.

He stood up and looked around, he didn't know absolutely any of their names. All he knew was that one girl Haillie was helping him escort everyone out, so he assisted. Over hearing Haillie's conversation with that other boy, he told everyone to head to The Three Broomsticks. He made sure to say it at a tone that the rest of the death eaters couldn't hear. He didn't want another battle in what seem to be a safe place at the moment. It wasn't too hard to do considering the debris and fires was already keeping the volume of the place at a high 11.

"Alright guys c'mon we have to get moving, it's DEFINITELY not safe here. Order's handling this" Xem said around where the students were standing. He was hoping they would cooperate and not cause too much trouble.

Xem also wondered if Jack wanted him gone as well. He guessed he'd find out after everyone else had escaped the battle. He'd rather stay and fight with Soph to keep her safe but if he needed to go then I guess he would be able to keep Hitame safe. Soph had been an order member for a long time anyways she was already experienced, and Xem recognized her experience. He was still protective over her anyways.

Hallie:

Upon hearing that more order members had arrived at the scene Hallie turned to Carth. 'I'll leave with this you. I need to help them.' She said, her blue eyes sparkling with a fiery passion that was determined to bring justice. She had no idea what had happened here but not a single death eater was going to get away on her watch.

Turning on her heel Hallie ran out of the room leaving Carth and the girls alone returning to the main room where a hefty explosion had sent one ofthe death eaters and Jack rolling on the floor, putting Charlotte pinned by Jack. 'Charlotte Topez!' Hallie gasped upon seeing the face of the quidditch player whose career she had followed for a whole being a fan of the Holyhead harpies. 

A sudden, awkward, gut wrenching disappointed had washed through her body. How was it possible someone who was in the limelight so much was an undercover death eater. Shaking her head Hallie rubbed her Teeth with her Tongue. No matter how famous she was the quidditch player was in the wrong, causing trouble and that meant a trip to the department of magical law.

Charlotte:

Charlotte's body was catapulted across the floor, Jack being pinned on top of her, spitting words of an unnecessary cat fight at her. Somewhere in the room she heard a woman say her name. Oh gosh. Now her secret really was out.

'Get off me!' Charlotte cried before spitting in Jack's face and creeping her hand to her fallen wand, grasping it tightly then pressing it on her cheek.

'Goodbye. Miss Dyllan.' Charlotte cackled. 'Avada-'

Hallie;

'Expelliarmus!' Hallie screamed, her eyes wide at the sudden words that were about to have left Charlotte's mouth. Topez was disarmed and her wand soared through the air and landed in a fire by the corner.

Carter walked out as he was followed by Carth and Trisha."Alright"He said as he followed the orders of a more experienced auror and went back inside. "Hallie are there any students there?!"He wasn't sure if she needed help since she was with the head of the order.He hoped there were no more kids in the building except the one Carth left.He peeked to see if anybody else that was a student was there.He went downstairs and saw what had happened.

Though the spell had now ceased, the effects lingered and it left Hitame rather disoriented. She was barely aware of what was going on now, all she heard were shouts and the sound of people moving around. Her brother's voice rang out to her above the rest and she stared at him blankly for a moment. Finally coming to her senses a bit more, she shook her head.

"I... Yeah, I'm fine." she assured Xem. "You just focus on getting everyone out." she told him. Hitame glanced around the room, through debris and spells flying everywhere. It seemed Henri had left and she swore at herself.

She tried to stand up and though she was a bit unsteady she was able to get to her feet and she looked at her brother. "Let's go. We have to get them out." she said.

The students were being cleared out. Hallie Cooper was sticking around, and Jack was enjoying the chance to see the girl in action. Perhaps she did not give her enough credit the day she had met her about Toby. 

But she did not have much time to consider this, for Charlotte Topez had fallen on top of her. Jack managed to swing her around and held her down, when Charlotte spit in her face. Jack rolled her eyes, not minding the bile. She was the guardian of a six year old, she had dealt with crazy creatures - she didn't mind slobber. "Classy as ever."

Charlotte managed to get her hand to Jack's face and Jack reached for her wand, prepared to save herself, when Cooper did it for her. Jack looked back at Charlotte and punched her, hard, over the cheek before standing up, putting her wand on her. "Incarcerous."
