Charlie suddenly woke up with a scream, he hadn't even realized he had slept. He hated sleeping it was a waste of time. 'what time is it?' he asked yawning.

Not knowing why she even asked, Ginevra laughed. He was so predictable but really, she didn't mind in the least bit. Surprises were a rather bold dislike of hers. Jumping as Charlie screamed while walking up, she sat up and raised an eyebrow. "It's about eight pm, gotta give us a fright?"

'I had a bad dream' Charlie explained tiredly. 'Eight only?' It had seemed late, as the common room was pretty much empty, but he had forgotten that everyone was on Christmas holiday. 'You two should have woke me up'

Shaking her head, her reasoning was true and actually good for once. "You needed sleep, that's crazy talk." she explained, shrugging her shoulders, as really even if they wanted too, it was to late now.

'No. I have a lot of homework to do, I'll be up all night now' Charlie said sighing. He hated homework it was useless, but it was better to do it then get a week full of detention.

"Which subjects?" Ginevra asked curiously. She hadn't gotten any homework as she had finished it in class: she always did. Sighing, she was just ready for a boring night, like always, because she couldn't sleep. Insomnia wasn't something she was glad to have.

Freddy looked over at Charlie. "Its the holidays how do you have homework?" He asked as he was quite confused by it.

"Potions, Transfiguration, Charms.. There all stuff to do during the holidays, but I didn't finish them" Charlie said, answering both their questions.

Shaking her head, she knew some people didnt get their homework done but in her opinion it was the worst time for having homework done in the break. "If you need any help, speak up."

'No no' Charlie said instantly. That would be humiliating. Getting help from someone a year below him. 'thanks though' he added, thinking he had been too rude.
