Surprise in the street

A blush came to Elizabeth's face along with a smile, she wasn't used to people telling her she was pretty or at least people outside her family. When she felt Oded hand on her lower back the blush just deepened. She took the seat he pulled and hoped that the blush was disappearing, she thought it was embarrassing if he saw that "You need to calm yourself Elizabeth, because if you don't you're gonna do something stupid" She thought.

"Thank you, I think is great they taught you that and even more great that you follow it" Elizabeth was looking at his eyes "You have pretty eyes" she told him before she could stop herself. "I mean, they are nice to look at... They are very deep" She said and started clearing her throat while grabbing the menu trying to avoid eye contact or at least avoid more humiliation in front of Oded because of her big mouth.

"You look very cute when you blush Elizabeth. Thank you for the compliment, your eyes of course I could get lost in for a very long time." Oded smiled at her being completely serious of course. He didn't know what was wrong with him but he knew he wanted nothing more than to kiss her lips. He looked away and around the cafe when he saw a woman approaching to take their order.
"What can I get for you two lovebirds?" The waitress asked smiling widely.
Oded smiled softly and looked at Elizabeth, "What would you like sweetheart?" He said grinning bigger and winking at her. He wondered if she would go along with what he said to her, he wanted to see how long it would take her to understand.

Elizabeth mind was running like crazy, her heart was beating faster than usual and a new wave of nervousness was starting in her body. She have never experiment this feelings Oded was making her feel, she wondered if this was what all her friends used to describe when they were experiencing their first crush or liked someone. Those feelings increased when he was talking to her and of course it didn't help when the waiter called them lovebirds or when he called her sweetheart. But for some reason Elizabeth was really enjoying the way he was making her feel.

She told the waiter what she wanted and gave her the menu. Elizabeth looked at him and gave him a big smile "I haven't been called sweetheart in a loooong time" she laugh a little, before continue " I feel kind of a bad for making you pay for all this... are sure you don't want to take the food to go so you could, you know, eat too?" She said looking at him with a small smile.

Oded grinned and said, "Well i can't imagine anyone not calling you sweetheart. Don't feel bad about this, i don't mind paying for food for you. I ate before i left the pub so i won't be hungry for a little while." He looked her in the eyes and he could swear that he felt human again. The waitress came back with her food twenty minutes later and continued to ask if he wanted something to eat. Oded continued to repeat that he had already eaten and she finally left him alone after knowing he really wasn't going to eat. "Hmm that woman seems to think that because i said i ate that i'm still hungry." He said as he looked around for a minute then looking back at her. He knew that it wasn't food that he wanted today, what he really wanted was her.

Watching the waitress insisting and trying to make Oded to eat was something she was finding hilarious, so when Oded made a comment about it she started laughing."I'm sorry but I think it's kind of funny" Elizabeth said to him still laughing "I think is her job to insist that much"

Elizabeth was having such a great time with him that she almost forgot her food so finally looking at the food in front of her, she took a bite and couldn't help but compare it to the food Oded made for her. Taking her fork down she told Oded with a smile "This is really good! The person who recommended this to you was right. But to be honest, I liked yours more"

She wasn't lying or trying to be nice with what she just said, Elizabeth was being really honest. Along with her grandmother and her mother food she thought Oded food was really great.

"Well I'm glad you like my food Elizabeth. Maybe I could cook for you again sometime soon?" Oded said looking down shyly then looking back at her hoping that she would accept his almost invitation. "If you don't want to I can respect that but, I would love to have you for dinner again. I mean cook you dinner, I didn't mean have you for dinner. I should probably shut my mouth now." Oded said looking away embarrassed. He began thinking that her presence was making his head fuzzy. He liked her and his new employee knew it to because he was trying to write a list but ended up writing her name twice. Tristan was a good man but he knew that he would try to make their worlds collide.

Elizabeth frowned with a small smile when Oded started to explain himself. She understood what he meant from the moment he say it, so Elizabeth thought it was cute how he was trying to explain her what he meant. Before Elizabeth could stop herself her hand went to grab his, her heart started beating even more fast and it was almost like their hands were made to be together.

"I understand don't worry " she told him keeping the smile on her face and her hand on his " and I would love if you cooked for me again, but you have to let me help you this time"

When she realized she was still grabbing Oded hand, Elizabeth took her hand really fast, she cleared her throat and was now the one feeling embarrassed "I'm sorry" she said trying this time keep her hands on her side of the table.

Oded felt like he was alive again when she reached out and grabbed his hand, when she took her hand away he felt empty. She was sparking feelings in him that he belived to be dead but he knew that he wanted to be with her. "I would for you to help me, that would very nice." Oded said wanting to reach out and take her hand or pull her into his arms. He hoped that he wasn't the only one who was feeling this way. "I know we just met Elizabeth and I know this sounds crazy but I really like you." Oded looked at her hoping that she wouldn't call him a creep and walk out of his life. He didn't want that, he wanted to stay with her and show her that he was different than anyone she had ever met.

Elizabeth just stared at him with wide eyes for a few seconds, of all the things he could have said this was the last thing she was expecting. She was speechless, her heart was beating like crazy all over again and a weird feeling was starting in her stomach. A small smile was starting to show on her face. She couldn’t believe all the things this man was making her feel in such a short time, how he could make her happy with just saying a few words or with small gestures like opening the door for her. “ I like you too Oded “ Elizabeth told him with a smile that became even bigger when she noticed someting “ So this was a date all the time huh?” she said still smiling and with a raised eyebrow .

"No but if you'd like it to be a date, it can be sweetheart. If I were to take you out on a date I would take you somewhere more romantic than here. I'm glad you like me too Elizabeth, but I would like to take you out on a date very soon." Oded said taking her hand in his smiling softly. His eyes crinkled in the corners when he smiled and with her he knew he wouldn't have to ever fake a smile. "I would like your help with something though when ever you are not busy. It's something I've been wanting to get rid of but couldn't find anyone who'd want it. I thought that maybe you could help find a good home for it, or you could keep it. I'll explain more later but right now all I want is to spend all day with you."
