sleeping babys and peaceful times

Delilah got up and laid James down gently after kissing him on the head. she walked into the living room and started picking up dirty clothes and toys that belonged to the twins. she went back and started a load of laundry and put the wet clothes that had been in the washer in a basket so that they could be hung out to dry. she went and got the play pin to set it up out side so she could keep an eye on the twins while she hung up the laundry. "come one James," she whispered walking in the room and picking him up again, "time to get some fresh air. "you coming out side?" she asked Steven quietly.

steven watched her and sighed as he lent on the door frame " do you want me to ?" he asked her feeling like she was blanking the issue " Dalilah?" he sighed moving to hold her close before moving to pick up jaylen in his arms still wrapped in her blanket as he followed her out side and sat down on a bench that sat just out side the door.

"Yeah?" She asked. Then Delilah went and lay James down in the play pen then went back in the door to get the basket of wet clothes. she started hanging up the clothes making sure to hang unmencibles out of site from the road. "I’m sorry this needs to be done." she whispered then started humming to herself as she hung up a sheet. "i need to the barn really quick and feed the horses." Delilah said after the basket was empty. "will you be okay with them for a few minutes?" she asked. She needed to go to Australia but she didn’t want Dylan to Steven to be there to see her brake down again.

Steven sighed and looked at her watching her hang the washing up he knew something was wrong and she didn't want to talk about it he nodded as she asked if he would be allright with the kids for a few minets " yeah but then you'll tell me whats wrong " he said " ether tht or I will make a wild guess at what I think it is " he siad folding his arms across his chest as he watched her he could not help love her as she moved the curve of her body and hosw the sun filtered threw the locks of her hair. He wanted to help her in everything and through the worst of it he had a feeling it must be bad for her not to tell him but knew she would talk to him in time .

Delilah quickly feed the horses and sunny before she went back put into the yard. She walked over and picked up James before sitting next to Steven on the bench next to the door. “what do you want for lunch?” she asked though her tone was some what happy the look in her eyes and on her face held nothing but sadness. She kissed Jaylnn on the head and played with James’s feet. “your mommas little man aren’t you?” she asked smiling down at him, “momma and daddy love you.” she kissed him on the head and stood up to go into the house to see what they had that she could make for lunch. She opened the freezer and looked inside not seeing anything she thought Steven would like. She was trying to avoid the fact that she wasnted to go to austraila and see her parents graves but she didn't want her fmaily to see her like that.

Steven watched her and smiled seeing her with their children as she moved into the kitchen he followed wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck " I guess that means your not willing to share what ever it is " he said holding her close to him. He gently kissed her neck again then moved to the crib where jaylen and james lay as he tickled there toes making them giggle as he did so. He loked up at her " thats ok Dalilah ut if you need some one to hold you Im here just remember that" he said feling a little like he ahd missed a part of her and could not help her as he wished.

Delilah looked over at Steven who played with there children. she walked over and put her arms around him, "i love you Steven," she whispered kissing him on the cheek. "i wish you wouldn't have seen me like this." she whispered, "All i can tell you is it happens every year." she kissed him again the went back to looking for something for lunch. she stopped looking long enough to was the breakfast dishes then clean off the table and mop the floor. "you never told me what you want for lunch." she said looking back at him. He was the love of her life but she didn’t want him to share the saddest part of her life.

Steven held her back and sighed when she said it woul;d happen every year " I wish you would share whats bothering you dalilah" he said softly as he watched her return to cooking " anything you ant to cook is ok with me " he said smiling wamly and lovingly to her as he held Jaylen and tickeled James feet making him giggle a little he loked Dylan and smiled " quite the young man now , hows school ?" hea asked him hoping to take his mind of dalilahs strange behavour .

Delilah looked back over at the loves of her life. she hadn't gone to visit her parents graves since Dylan was about a year old. he knew nothing of them not where they where bared or why he never saw them.. Delilah didn't want him to hurt the way she did. “How would you all.. Never mind,” she started to ask if they’d like to go on a vacation to Australia there she could sneak out of the hotel room long enough to visit them then come back. “that’s a stupid idea,” she whispered to her self “there isn’t much to do there.”

Steven looked at her then stood to hold her " how would we what , ask it and then let us decide " he said softly to her as he kissed her lips gently and lovingly as he smiled at her as he did so he felt her heart beating against him he loved her so much that if she wanted to go to the ends of the world he would go with her he loved her that much.
