Finally home. (DELILAH)

Steven sighed slowly waking as he stretched he groaned from a twinge in his lower back "ow ether I'm getting too old or I pulled a muscle" he said softly and kissed Delilah lightly as he sighed " Morning my love and wife to be" he said brushing her hair from her face "I think a little boy is impatient for his dad to play with him " he said and chuckled

Delilah stirred a little when steven kissed her and spoke she moved a little closer to him then settled back into the sleep that had taken her after their fun the night before. she smiled in her sleep and curled up bringing her knees closer to her.
Dylan hurd steven talk and ran back toward their room "Daddy?" he asked the new puppy fallowing him barking.

Steven heard Dylan and kissed Delilah "sleep I'll keep him occupied, you need it " with lingering kiss he slipped out making sure the blankets were wrapped around her keeping her warm and safe . Dressing he moved quietly to the door and out smiling at Dylan "shush mummy's sleeping still " he sat down in front of him "so what do you want to play " he smiled at him waiting.

Delilah's smile faded a little when steven left but still lingered there because of her dreams.
Dylan smiled up at steven and said "I wanna play chef," he meant that he wanted to coot or bake something like he normally did with his mom. "we could make mommy breakfast in bed," he said beaming up at his daddy. then pulled him towards the kitchen.

Steven smiled and nodded "that would be a wonderful Idea Dylan" he said and moved with him into it , he placed a chair beside the counter and lifted him up "ok let me do the hot stuff you can do al the rest " he said placing down a glass and the tray with a plate and cutlery on "first toast " he waved his hand and it floated over with the marg and jam and a dull knife "be careful back and forth" he showed him then watched as he did it himself "I'll cook the egg's bacon and beans " he moved to the Dylan cooker watching Dylan as he made up the rest of the breakfast .

Dylan buttered the toast and other stuff then watched Steven make the rest. "mommy could drink the special grown up juice with her breakfast!," Dylan said a big smile on his face thinking it was the bet idea ever.
Delilah could smell the food cooking and it slowly woke her up though she wasn't ready to get out of bed yet. she put on some under garments and found an old plaid shirt and put it on then laid back down and closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep.

Steven looked at Dylan and shook his head "no Dylan that juice is for evenings only not mornings " he said as he plated up the food "why don't you find a nice flower for the vase" he suggested knowing she would love it "come on I'll help " he lifted him down and moved t the back door and out to the garden to pick flowers.


Returning he placed the flowers in a small vase he had found and smiled at Dylan "she will love them , come on" he picked up the tray and walked to the bed room door "Dylan could you get the door " he asked then stepped threw moved to the bed placing it down he lent forward and kissed her noticing she had dressed a little . " Delilah we made breakfast for you honey" he said softy

Dylan walked in with steven and climbed up on the bed. "good morning mommy," he said smiling.
Delilah woke up once again sitting up. even tough she had put the shirt on she hadn't buttoned i up so it lay opened "Hey Dylan," she said then smiled up at steven. "hey," she whispered then kissed him. she looked at the tray of food and smiled "so how much did you make?" she asked dylan knowing he loved to help cook when allowed to.
"the toast!" he said smiling "but daddy said you couldn't have any of the juice he brought over last night. he said its for night time only,"
"and hes very right." Delilah said giggling "thank you," she said to both of them.

Steven smiled reaching out he pulled he shirt closed it over his hand brushing her skin as he did and he smiled at her "sorry" he said softly as he couldn't help but kiss her gain "you look radiant to day the sleep worked " he said and sat facing her on the bed "Dylan found the flowers , didn't you , I steered him away from weeds " he chuckled as he took her hand in his.

"Yeah i found the flowers," Dylan said smiling .
delilah blushed a little as steven pulled the shirt closed and kissed him. "they are very pretty flowers" she whispered then kissed steven again. "Yeah the sleep helped." she said then at a bit of food then mumbled "this is good,"
"yay mommy liked it," Dylan exclaimed.
